Riquelme, Marquez, Zokora and Rosicky (jammy bastards) so far, and I expect Ronaldinho, Torres and Ribery to follow.

Tim Cahill should be mentioned. Quality second goal.

My vote goes to Zokora and Rosicky. Ah forgot to mention Robben as well.

Thought Drogba was awsome too... And think Klose can be the topscorer of the tournament...

Rosicky's second goal with the outside of his foot whilst running at full pelt was very impressive.

and cahill completely changed the game yesterday, dynamic in the extreme.
Riquelme, sadly I think he's too lazy. Nice player, but he drifts in and out of the game too much. Wouldn't say no to him moving over from Villareal mind.

I've read this somewhere, can't remember where but it was nice to read coz upon watchin the Mexico v Iran game I couldn't help but notice how much control Marquez had over the game. Didn't rate him before, in CL final Henry had him shitting himself, and I suppose the opponents were Iran, but if he carries on I think Mexico won't do too badly!

IMO, Robben has benn the best player so far. Argentina have probably been the best team, and Riquelme was v. good, but Robben clinches it for me at the mo. Would like to see one of the England players start playing to their potential and have shout at it. We will have to wait and see.

It was a quality second goal, but he was lucky to be on the field. How his bad tackle did not win the Japanese a penalty I'll never know.

i definately think Stephan Appiah & Michael Essien of Ghana are worth a shout, they were magnificent against Italy and didnt deserve to lose

Robben played as he should every week.

Totti finally put in a decent performance and was key to their possession.

Essien was very good, but then again Ghana didn't have many other players.

Zokora was involved in everything for the Ivorians.

Every game will have one player who shines really so it's tough to single one for the whole tournament so far, plus it needs to be shown that they can do it on more than one occasion.

I hope lennon will take on players tho, it worried me when he came on in that friendly against Jamaica as everytime he got the ball he passed it back and didn't take on the left back once!

Rosicky's goals were amazing, Essien, Appiah, Robben and Cahill all done superbly. There's been alot of good players so far, but only one game, so we can't really judge!

Marquez was amazing for Mexico... Was the main play maker... a solid defender...

Essien was good for Ghana... shame the rest of the team weren't all that

Pirlo was excellent for Italy... great passer and has a good shot... Carrick reminds me of Pirlo

Rosicky, Cahill, Kaka,

Torres was awesome... Sadly he's hunted by all the big clubs, so we probably won't be able to attract him..
