yeh theyre cricket heroes, but that was last year, just there for a pissup , he probably fell asleep in the game ,lets face it it was boring enough and he was pissed enough, true professional great example as a temporary England captain , yeh hes a hero but hes only as good as his last game and his last games have been crap .

it just pees me off when the stadium hold what 45000?? and only 8000 tickets are offically allocated to the FA where do the other 29000 go allowing 8k for the opposition?? to people like freddie and co or to proper fans who watch all the games if they get passed the struggle to get passed the miserly ticket allocation.

ticket allocations have always puzzled me - then again I guess the true football fans have ways and means of obtaining tickets. why do fans travel to Germany with no tickets - just to end up watching it on a giant screen. They could do that in their home city. The BBC reckoned we had 35000 fans in there anyway.

That says a lot for the state of the game. Win it 8 times in a row and then the world cricket cup and maybe then be called heroes. The word itself is becoming overused like "Legend".

They ARE heroes for finally sticking that dwarf Ponting's bat down his throat....I hate the Australian team, group of egotistic arrogant bastards, and for shutting McGrath, Ponting, Langer, Hayden up, Flintoff and co ARE legends. FYI I heard the commentry say that it was 35000 england fans in attendance and capacity was either 43 or 45000.
