Hi mate...

Their star is in their bench, it's called Marcelino and he's the best spanish coach at the moment. With a very weak squad at Recreativo he lead them to the 9th place.

This season, Racing de Santander were threatened with relegation. They sold Croatian striker Nicola Zigic (Crouch-like striker and top goal scorer last season) to Valencia for big bucks and only signed Mohammed Tchité and Smolarek (average strikers). Yet they play good football and they lie 5th in the table with 50 points, the same amount Atlético Madrid (4th) has.

Garay, one of the most promising CB around, was commanding the defence but he got injured last week in the King's cup semifinal and he'll be out for 6 weeks.

And...guess what? Espanyol 0 - 3 Racing Santander

Summing up: Oscar Serrano is above average, and is playing very well this season, but so is doing the rest of the squad too. Best player at Santander is Garay, and he would cost about 14 million pounds (€21 million). Barcelona, Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool are all tracking him and it has been reported that he was leaving for Barcelona, and only his latest injury has stopped the move.
