i agree, the odd young foreigner is ok, as long as we dont follow in the scums footsteps !!! but a 6ft 4 under 18 french captain sounds promising !

AG should be kept for at least another year as Davenport is not that experienced. Hopefully at the end of next year, Davenport would have gained more experience and we can then evaluate whether the French Fry or Mills is ready to step up a rung and decide which 2 should be the understudy for the King/Dawson tandem.

i would think our youngsters are of good quality so i don't think we need to buy another player like davies. We need someone like naybet who can cover but play at the top level for a couple of years, until the young guns are ready to step up.
I notice no price has been mentioned, maybe he was part of the acimovic deal with lille. Also wasn't this 18 year old french guy played by mark walburg in the film??

no defendi is still on our books he was just loaned out to Udinese last season as he only had an Italian passport or something like that but i believe we still own him
