This is my local club when I lived in the UK - they have been making steady progress in recent years but this judgement beggars belief - Can any of you over there do anything sign a petition or something - sorry to ask but hands are tied here and I think this needs bringing to people's attention... Any help much appreciated... the bloody guy was a double for Therri Henri can you believe that?
Thanks
Ron

I'm confused. What are you in favour of?
I am of the opinion this club should stand their ground as the scumbag doesn't deserve **** all except a beating in the slammer.

would agree with you , morally the guy should get nish apart from a slippery bar of soap for the prison showers , but i think contractually a company has to , and maybe should have to as well, pay someone until they are prooven guilty .
dont think grays can escape this one

I think he has been proven guilty, is he not in chokey? I also think assisting in an armed robbery during the course of which someone gets shot dead can, in some circumstances, consitute gross misconduct. Failing which, "moonlighting" is also not allowed and the lesser known charge of bringing his employer into disrepute may also stand.
However, his most heinous crime was to impersonate Theirry Henry, which is ridiculous, there's only one bloke that's as big a **** as Henry and that's Eboue.

true on the eboue bit :) , but as i read it the guy was owed money up until he was convicted .
i think its right that a company , football club or not , should support someone financially until trial, innocent until guilty and all that , but all for them suing the guy ( or woman ) if convicted, along the lines kk mentioned i.e gross misconduct , looking like henry etc etc

Thanks for your comments especially the Henri ones, it's just crazy that the club will be punished and may even be suspended or chucked out because of this - that's my point especially as the crime committed was murder.
But again thanks for the comments.

Ok this is spooky, i'm from Tilbury so Grays is literally JUST up the road, and hopefully all of this gets sorted, although the Grays chairman is planning to move the club anyway, well thats the strong rumour going about anyway :(, but I still wouldnt want this to happen, as they too are my local team!

Should we be surprised, i mean the FA allowed Bowyer and Woodgate to play on, Cantona to carry on playing after jumping into the crowd while the fan got a life suspension from football grounds
They love scummy players and their scummy behaviour, theyll probably allow this murderer to play on on day release providing he promises not to run away.
They love chelsea and their cheating scheming backstabbing ways, Leicester get away with a cheating way of going into admin while the decent honest teams like Bournemouth, and modern day Luton are doomed to certain relegation and therefore further financial ruin for doing things the 'right' way.
FC used to stand for Football Club, now it stands for Footballs Corrupt :(

i think that they sholu keep the club in,but the boy should definately be put in prison.
however the club should only pay half of what his contract is. not the full
