4-3-3 next season??

its BMJ favoured formation and we've almost played that way this season although we havent had an actual left winger so davids or tainio compensated and keane dropped in behind.

but, saying we bring in the left winger we need, can anyone else see this being the way ahead next season with berb thru the middle and keane linking frm a deeper position?

it might also answer the conundrum over all those central midfielders we've bought lol

Not with our present personnel. Even with the addition of a proper left winger, the middle three, with the exception of Jenas, are too slow. And Jenas doesn't have a proper tackle, nor does Carrick.

don't see how as we'd be fielding one less, i think we'll play 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1
and we'll have competitive as well as flair players for both wings.

i think jol has taken his time into playing a more attacking style, and may have only done that when his hand was forced with the fight for fourth. Despite our respectable back 4 i don't think jol is that attacking minded, he appears quite cautious to me, but it is early days.

I feel that we will play a very attacking 4-4-2 if we get a left-winger. With Keane dropping back anyway at times it will seem perhaps like a 4-3-3 though.

we should be playing a very attacking 4-4-2 next season. assuming we sign a real left winger and chimbonda it will be almost a 2-4-4 with the wing backs and wingers pushing up that far only leaving ledders & daws at the back. hopefully
