If we're going to sell at a couple of millions, we'll be losing a million as we signed him for 3.

 Unless he has asked to go why sell him he has done well when called upon, and we will need him next season.

The Sky Blues will receive an initial £1.1million for Davenport, with the rest of the fee payable for appearance-based clauses.
So it's never going to reach 3m, doesn't mean to say there won't be a percentage sell on fee though. We should make a profit on him anyway.

Don't understand why we are thinking of selling him before Gardner.

Agree, I'd rather have Davenport than Gardner...

Totally! Davenport still has to mature as a player; Gardner looks worryingly like never quite making the grade... Isn't Gardner being offered to WBA though?

Cannot understand why we would want to do this? I rate the guy as a serious prospect. We seem to be shipping out centre halves at an alarming rate.....could there be a signing in the offing?

Great...for who....Curtis Davies?
Bryan Robson can **** off....he's a shite manager and thinks he's ****in king ****in dong with his whiney comments...."Spurs' offer is ridiculous"
**** off you tiny prick....they're lucky people are offering for his players, they took his shitty club down! Arsehole.

Bryan Robson....he just pisses me off. He's the most miserable man in football, always looks like he's about to cry and always got something to whine about. Why? He's earning our annual salary in a week, what the **** has he got to be so glum about? And it aint just WBA, he's always been this way, even at Boro.

i think davo would go for about 3m maybe more. I expect davo will be loaned out for another 6 months to boost his price, if he proves he's a quality player in the championship he'll be worth similar to lescott, who at this moment in time is being quoted as £5.5m to everton. That's a lot of money. Cha ching!

If he goes, and we get Davies in as a replacement, we will be making a huge mistake.

True. Davies, like Cole, is another player I am strongly opposed to signing.

Don't think he'll go anywhere. Naybet & Bunjy will go if they haven't already so we need Gardner & Davenport as backup.

Think Davenport should stay, A mate of mine who is a W.Ham supporter said he was their best player when he was there on loan.

Davies is an error-prone joke of a player. He is no good at where he plays and only looked good at times last season due to West Brom being rather a little bit poor.

Agreed. Especially with the words 'error-prone joke'. Sums him up nicely.
