When i first started going to the Lane{1963} the Paxton Rd was the place to stand,& one of the noisiest stands in the league.
This continued for many years until they made the Paxton a members area since when it has got quieter & quieter & the Park Lane & the Park Lane corner of the East Stand have taken over.To anyone who goes to the Lane it is immediately obvious where the noisest support is.
Why is it then that whenever we win the coin toss we always kick towards the Paxton in the second half & in my view give our opponents an advantage, attacking towards there own supporters & the spurs not having the vocal support in there faces urging them on.I can't beleive that M J or Ledders hasn't picked up on this one.The advantage may only be small but i wonder would a lot of those last few minuite goals have come about if it had been the other way round.

If i had my way,the visiting fans would be put in the east upper where you could not see or hear them and the oppos would have no one to play to

But when you think the keeper is getting stick from three ends of the ground all around him that must put more pressure on him...?

Perhaps that toss-pot Kuszac wouldn't have done what he did with 10 seconds to spare if he was down the other end near his support.

take your point spur but i would love to see the statistics for away team goals in the second half at the lane last season. My impression was that we let in a lot more than we should have.
