Snap! I got a week's ban for being curt with Spur on there last week. There are a lot of forums like that, not just football ones.

Coys are very sensitive about their ITKs. There seems to be a real fear that if they're not treated like royalty, they'll take their info elsewhere and the site will lose traffic. I pointed out how tiresome it was that any ITK thread invariably attracted dozens of unnecessary "Thanks for sharing" posts you had to wade through, and could forumers be discouraged from doing so, or send PMs instead, but was told not.

Ah, that was you(Noodles was the ITK). Totally agreed with your post and knew what was coming next from the mods. In fairness you do have some decent ITK's on some sites.

Archie on SO gets good info but some others are questionable. There's one on COYS who seems to get everything wrong, and some people have questioned Ben on FTL. Dragon is good, his info is usually spot on.

Noodles has history with the Club in some way I think although I may be wrong about that. He's a member of the Supporters club too and is quite often critical of how they do their business I think. That's the impression I got anyway. Some people have called for him to go for Supporters Club president I read on a forum never mentioned. He is known for giving cryptic clues. I don't think anyone knows who his cryptic thread was referring to yet but apparently the HoofHarted one was about Javier Mascherano. That was the 'something big might happen' and '_ _ _ I _ _' clues.

Hard to see what possible incentive there would be for Mascherano to leave Liverpool, although it seems they don't have the money to buy him. I somehow doubt we've got 17m to buy him either. At least we're targeting players in positions we actually need.

A previous thread on there started by Barnetspur i think, said hes had it from a source that Ramos was unhappy at SPurs. Now thats a valid point of view to be discussed but o no, on COYS the next 30 posts were 'delete this thread incase the tabloids get wind of it' etc etc a handful of posters backed the original posters rights to post this topic and i tried to begin a proper discussion using some points. The thread was closed due to the OTT replies, fair enough perhaps, so i then copy pasted my posting to start a new thread to discuss it, this was shut almost immediately , so clearly they dont want any talk on things that might be detrimental to SPurs even tho the points are very valid.

I'm not too sure about the thread you are talking about, but right now there's nine pages and not one reply like 'shut this thread before the media get hold of it' on us being after Bosingwa and Lucho.

It's just run like a tight ship that's all. If someone has a direct go at someone else then the mods step in. Their motto is 'play the ball, not the man'. In other words there's no need to start calling someone a **** if it's what their saying you disagree with. Just say you disagree with it and why. Put them down by proving them wrong not calling them a prick or something.

I too keep getting lost in the multitude of different threads. There are hundreads that start O/T :confused: i had to go and look it up on their spurs speak section. It stands for Off Topic and i assume the topic is spurs so why not have other sections and if your going to police it,then do it properly.
