Press Conferences.

I was just wondering why we never seem to have Official press conferences to unveil new signings. We always have the standard pictures of the player standing on the training pitch holding his new shirt, sometimes the players says a few words but that is usually it. The last one i can remember is when pleat unveiled Defoe. We didnt have one to show off Edgar Davids when he finally arrived last summer, and he is one of europes most successfull and most recognisable players. All the other 'big' clubs seem to take real pleasure in showing off their new talent. Is it possible that Martin knows that a few more high profile players are on their way to the lane, maybe a joint press conference?

We like to keep things quiet, just like our progress has been very quiet too. Actually I don't think we should be talking about it at all, becuase someone might notice.

i like the news that we have developed English talent over the last couple of seasons so that we have the biggest representation in the England World cups squad out of any team anywhere , that beats any new signings any day.

Players are all on their summer breaks. We'll probably have a pres conference & unveil all our signings at once when pre-season training commences.
