Forgot about him, he was the only player Gross signed. Actually heard a very funny story about it, basically Pleat went to see Sugar to protest about Spurs signing him and said he was n't even close to good enough. Sugar took one look at the price and said "**** it, he's cheap. Let him have him and then tell him he's done his transfer budget". I assume it was shortly after that that Sir Alan developed his now famous catchphrase.
