Berbatov will play out of his skin lads.....it's no coincidence that he's hit form as the transfer window has opened - don't be fooled. But while he's still here it's to our benefit. I think a draw here. Beating a full strength Chelsea on their own patch is a big ask.

dont forget they are missing terry and lampard through injury aswell as dogbreath, kalou, mikel, and essien to the ANC. Gutted when mikel got sent off against everton on tuesday cuz first i thought it was ballack. 2-1 spurs. hopefully anelka wont sign in time cuz he is quality...

After the game we had last night, I see us really upping our game for this. It all depends on whether Ledders plays or not, and if he can last the 90 if he does. Without him our ususal defences blunders will likely surface, and if Robbo plays then he might just kick the ball over his own head and in the net off the cross bar.
Berbatov and Keane to have a blinder, and O'Hara to welly one in from 40 yards! I predict us to get 2 goals. How many Chelski get is dependant on the above factors...

hey denis thats looks like a vibrant attacking side u picked,.... but i dont think it will happen, think ramos will use tiano, in centre mid, with possibly ohara retaing his spot,
rest of team should be the same, very hard game for us as team is very inexperienced.
ramos may even drop lennon to bench, till second half,
personally id start defoe, and save keano till 2nd half....id fancy him to score if he came on

well I've been keeping a close eye on him threw the season, But I noticed in the Arsenal game last week that he was shite to be honest, he hasn't got the pace to catch up to defend against the Arsenal wingers or any other teams...

Boateng and O'Hara are out of their depth Ballack and Makelele are completely outclassing them. Taarabt is our only other option on the bench for midfield he might be to much for Makelele to handle in his old age. Put Boateng on Ballack then unlesh Taarabt in the hole behind Berby and Keano. We created 1 chance in the first half and it still wasn't an easy one to score even though Malbranque caught it just right.

More likely, it was Boateng and O'Hara in midfield who looked completely overwhelmed. Chelsea out-numbered us all across the midfield, where we had little space, no options on the left and struggled to involve our strikers in the game.

Taarbat, everytime he had the ball he lost possession, not very impressive, I thought that he would have tried to impress Ramos, first goal was a blinder, how the feck can you blame Lee, some of you just hate the guy, same as you used to pick on JJ, second goal, JPB came to late to close down SWP.

The thing is, as much as we love the way O'Hara goes about his game, he isn't good enough to be a first team starter. He might well make an impact when he comes on sometimes, but we need better in our midfield.

Today Chelsea were simply the better side... We didn't take our chances, Neither did we create as many as we should of done...
We must wait till the summer if we are to bring in the players that we mainly need such as Hutton, Emanuelson, maybe Alves exc... A fresh start next season with the new players... Ramos will have the summer to plan...
We just need this season over and done with... :o

lee is frustrating, ok he has imoroved slightly over the past couple of months but really how hard is it to cross the ball??? he must be the worst crosser in the prem. actually no....i think lennon might take that crown. also agree with what someone said earlier about his height, that doesnt help!!! with bale injured our left hand side is poor but whats new??? same for the past few seasons
looking forward to see who we buy

After watching the highlights, Berbs might have a point here, but Taarabt was running around like a headless chicken, I think that he lost all possession.

The quite frankly useless Boateng, and the enterprising O'Hara against Ballack & Makelelelelelele, two of the best midfielders in World football. How can anyone here be suprised or angry? It was a totally uneven match up from the start. Even Jenas and Hudd would have struggled to keep their heads above water against them.
So what we already know is aparent again; CM lacks quality, there's no real LW outlet (Steed in CM would be better), Defence lacks organisation, and our strikers fail to take good chances. But TBH, Chelsea is a game, while I'll always support them, I'm always prepared to let go as long as we do the job against lower opposition and our top 10(?) rivals.

neither of which we are doing with any great regularity.
Im not on any side but its amazing that strikers can miss opportunities and stil lget picked while the keeper can make some howlers and get dropped.
whats the difference, the strikers have scored goals and missed some easy chances, the keepers made some errors and pulled off some great saves. both have won us and lost us points
