how do you see the game going tonight. I think the positives will be our midfield playing together and being positive, hope the others can tune in. I would expect it to be tight for space and them to put up a good show as they have nothing but there reps to play for. We'll see if lennon can impose himself on international players and teams, it's by no means a given as he's found it hard in some games.
Sven's youth strategy could like bright and breezy or flat and lacking direction. Can the new guys adjust?? 3-1 to us

Your prediction of a 3-1 win is good indication of your belief in our contingent.

if anything i thought we lost belief as the half went on. some selfish play and poor positional play from crouch costing us chances. belarus are pushing on and are really looking good in the middle, just lack ideas against our back four. Our wingers are doing well but are too quick at times, with nobody to cross too. Anyway they're learning and should improve second half. Come on defoe.

Do you think Jol would bid 7.5 million for him? Might be worth a gamble at around 4 million.

Is walcott any good???

£4million would be about right, still alittle too expensive for how i rate him but we've already had a £6million bid rejected and boro wont sell unless Downing says he wants to leave which wont happen

Hargreaves is linking well with Lennon. Don't mind him as our right back and/or utility man.

well it's bad when you get outpassed by 10 men, especially if they're from belarus lol. It gives me an opportunity to slag sven off, and i've yet to pass one up. I have a real problem with him only taking one big striker, as we could see today in the last few minutes, we were still bombing the ball forward. We've never been that adept at playing on the ground, and a large physical striker has always been a big focus for us. If we take crouch off or he gets injured, we're relying on half fit or inexperienced players to do something we've never been very good at. We created very little in the second half tonight. On the plus side i thought lennon and crouch played well, jenas and hargreaves were ok with some lax passing. The problem was we never had control of the game. The next couple of games will be very interesting.
They said on the sky commentary that green did his groin on his first save, yet he didn't bleeding say anything about it. It shows how stupid players can be sometimes.

I'm not going to get involved in this as I feel ashamed. But it was nice to see Ashley Cole and Sol Campbell get rinsed time and time again. May I add I missed most of the second half and still saw them get rinsed many-a time.

Whereas I think Arseley Cole can still get back, ****ball is all washed up, and will soon be a permanent fixture for a team like Reading.

lennon was excellent last night...he reminds me so much of cliff jones, but english, obviously. i thought carrick coudl have impose himself more though. looked accomplished in the side but maybe needs better, more experienced players around him.

to be fair they're pretty much the best we have to put around him, it shows the leap in quality at this level. It's tough and carrick and jenas didn't tackle enough. belarus used their strikers smartly, to hold the ball up and wait for the midfield to join, which they were more than happy to do. You could hardly say that about us. We're too rigid tactically to handle passing teams, and it reminded me of spain playing us off the park, but this was belarus and they still did it with 10 men. Teams know how to play us now.

I think that Sun article is a joke!
Carragher and Campbell done shit as did Ashley Cole. Downing done some things ok and some things not ok so he was an ok player on the pitch IMO. Carrick didn't do too well, Jenas seemed to want to go forward a lot more than stay back. Dawson a 4? what did he do to merit that? If Defoe gets a 5 then so does Walcott the ****ing Sun are a joke.

trevor francis was doing my head in on sky commentary, praising crouches finish from 3 yards, even though it was a tap in and he'd blindly ran offside. Then he criticised lennon's chip effort as a poor finish. Numbnuts!!

I know this is a Spur's board and I apologize for this post. Can anyone tell me where Englands goals will come from at the world cup? Owen 's crocked, Crouch cannot win a header despite being a giraffe. The most prolific English goalscorer last season is on a beach somewhere. Someone help explain this to me.
Very happy to see so many talented young Spurs last night.
Owen Hargreaves seemed half decent. Maybe he's one who's better starting than coming in late (Like Defoe perhaps).

The goals will come from midfield, via Jenas, Lennon, Gerrard and Lampard.

hey maybe hargreaves is the answer to our right back problems?? Only kidding.
I think sven is making a mahoosive mistake with this rooney injury, in fact his striker selections throughout. Our preparations are absurd, the guys who should be playing together are sitting on the bench or injured, and the others are worried that they'll lose their place to some half fit genius. The buzzword seemed to be comradery last time, now it seems like every man for himself, led wholeheartedly by sven the idiot. It occurred to me that owen will be under the most pressure to do well, a good tournament from him could resurrect his career and get him a move away from newcastle, and lay claim to his continued striker role in the side. I hope it won't be at the expense of the team.
