Perhaps if we ask nicely the other teams wont mind if we dont bother to much on the Left.

well they didn't mind last year. Would rather see hudds stay and play as carricks understudy, unless ofcourse he's better than him. He needs to be getting games though. Would really like to see bridge come in, a decent right back and i'm withholding judgement on chimbo, an attacking lefty or even better can play both sides such as babel (please mr levy).

Are some of the big guns on his trail? So far haven't heard anyone after him; so could be a steal for us if we go in early.

has babel stated that then? ajax have qualified for CL but are unlikely to progress beyond group stage, also i don't think he's a regular there. I think on ability alone he will interest all the big clubs, especially as he can play both sides and up front. If i was ajax i would wait until after the world cup to sell, but again holland have other good wingers so he may remain largely unused. We can only hope that our dutch contacts have given us a head start. If we had money to tempt robben from chelsea, then we may have money for this guy. Hope so.
