Apparently Reading are chasing Andy Reid! Will he stay here as he stated this week? Or will playing at Reading rather than warming our bench prove too much to turn down?!? :p
I'm sure we paid £7.5M for Reid and Daws, how much do you think Reid will be allowed to leave for?

I hope he does not go. I know i have little to base it on , but my gut feel is that he will come good and do something for us on the left. He has shown great touch and vision , I know he is not the quickest , but neither was Gazza , when he is on song he can dribble (not a word you hear much any more) and score good goals. I hope he can keep the weight off , get fit , steer clear of injuries an do a job for us.

i think his comments saying he won't be forced out tells us he's getting a lovely contract at spurs and may not be too bothered about first team footy. I expected him to be lean and mean for eire last night, but they nearly had to stretcher him on. I would have thought he's worth 2m on ability, but he has to get his act together.

People are gettin different sources to me im sure, as i saw him come on for EIRE and he wasnt too bad, yeah he looked a bit porky but if he was that overweight would he be selected for an international match?

well he only got 5 mins so he wasn't highly rated. I agree he kept the ball ok though, i don't doubt his abilities, and i even championed them when he was playing for us in the early part of the season. He has the courage to play his football and try and create, and we had so few outlets at the time. He's been at the mido weight loss diet.

At least he hasn't been taking Mido's 'Improve your attitude' courses.

True, True, I would love to see Reid doing amazingly well for us, just hasn't happened yet, but give him a chance and I'm sure it will.

Nobody need to chase Porky. All you need is to walk and you'll overtake him.

If he want's to stay we should keep him, he could be the answer to our left side problem if he stays injury free. We don't have to sell players if we don't wan't to, players who have no chance of becoming regulars ( Bunjy,Kelly,Murphy,Ziegler?) can be sold but keep the rest.

Everyone always says we should sell Bunj but I think he is playing a big part behind the scenes that we on't know about. Why else would he be skipper of the reserve side? Surely a young up-and-coming player would get it?
