I hope thy don't, because everytime we play a side who just get a new manager, we tend to lose, alla Birmingham & 6 or 7 years ago when Derby appointed John Gregory & we lost at Pride Park.
I'm going 3 or 4 nil Spurs, should be 3 points

Nothing less than 3 points. I'd go for this team if their fit:
Robbo
Chimbonda Dawson Kaboul Rocha
Lennon Boateng Jenas Malbranque
Bent Keane
Subs: Cerny, Lee, O'Hara, Berbatov, Defoe
Otherwise:
Robbo
Tainio Chimbonda Kaboul Lee
Lennon Boateng Malbranque O'Hara
Bent Keane
Subs: Cerny, Stalteri, Huddlestone, Berbatov, Defoe

Yeah, and with January coming quick, JD will want to go to a club were he can get first team play...
So we gotta start him tomorow and against Reading atleast before the transfer window opens...

No JD wants to play for a club that will pay him the most. Simple as.
Yes he says he wants to stay and says he knows the fans want him to stay BUT and it's a very BIG BUT he's got the same agent as Scumbell and i wouldn't trust that sh!tbag as far as i could spit.

Defoe is gone already there's no point starting him. If he was going to sign he would've already. If he hasn't signed up by the 1st of January he'll be sold that month. He's a good little player but easily replaced I'd like to see who Ramos would bring in up top.
EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot to talk about the game 10-0 Spurs with Robbo scoring 9 and a Healy OG

I'm quite worried about the striker situation at the moment, the way I see it is,
Defoe = gone in Jan
Berbatov = gone in the summer
Bent = possibly gone in Jan or the summer, I'm sure spurs are gonna cut their losses
So that leaves us with only Keane as a forward for next season!!!

If Berbatov leaves... We've already got David Villa lined up for him I think...
Also every 1.4+ million of the Spurs supporters on the Planet want Bent to **** off, which isn't happening cos of that annoying hard-faced **** comolli not letting it happen!!! :mad:
Someone should post a thread displaying the new Spurs team they'd like to see after January... Heres mine anyway:

Chimbonda King Laursen Emanuelson
Lennon Jenas KPB Bale
Berbatov Keane

I'm not worried about it that much how I see it is
Berbatov= 20-30mil
Defoe= 10-15mil
Bent= 10-15mil
That's about 50 mil for Ramos to buy us some quality upfront. I'd hate too see Berbatov leave but the other 2 I'm not fussed about. Berbatov may surprise us all and be here at the beginning of next season who knows.
The main thing we need to sort out is a replacement for King in the heart of defence becauses he's forever injured. Then the fecking LW still needs sorted.

Hard to get that sort of money for defoe i think it will be a 10million deal at most with 7million up front.
Lets just say all 3 leave than i would like to see.
Keane-huuntelaar
David villa-kenwin jones.
To big men, to small men! It works!
And since choda said jones i just keep imagening him being another adeybayor.
But in the players ive picked i can't see any of them coming, i think we will probly buy a french man (saha!) and someone from la liga.
A tough act to follow in replaceing them strikers but if defoe is leaving than keep bent!

Well we know for a fact now that one stiker is gonna leave in January, and it doesn't look like Keane (thank ****) or Bent (for ****s sake)... So Defoe or Berbatov...
Like Keanoldinho basically said, Defoe will be leaving cos he wants first team play and pay rise... So we're gonna be forced to sign a striker in replacement... But theres no way we are gonna sign someone like David Villa and play the same amount of time that Defoe has played for us... The only time we need to buy someone like David Villa is if Berbatov or Keane ever leave...
This means Spurs are either likely to recall Barnard back from his loan spell... Or buy a player who isn't exactly class as the other players who are already playing first team... e.g Mohamed Zidan, Abonglahor, Viduka, exc...

If that was the case he would of left earlier, all would want to stay unless ramos makes it clear he doesn't want them.
In my opinion i think he should decide between defoe and bent, but im not sure if jd is playing the contract game as sol did. Will the big clubs want to pay big money for him? Or get him for free?
Thats the only way i can see a big club coming in for him if its for free. But defoe will either sign or be sold by next summer.

24th December 2007, 11:58 PM
Defoe will be sold in January because by the summer he'll be inside his last year and we'd have to settle for 5mil if that. Right now with the current state of the transfer market we could pull 10 mil for him reason being he's young, English, and that would up his price more.
Bent is going nowhere people just need to give the kid sometime to settle he's quality just look at his history. Berbatov will also definately not be going anywhere in January unless we get abid of 30 odd mil which is highly unlikely.

If west ham match what we paid for him then maybe for baord will sell.
But i haven't had any indication that we are buying another striker.

If Defoe doesn't sign up I reckon he'll be off in January and I doubt anyone will offer big money for Bent. I could be wrong but I think we'll be selling Defoe in January. I hope he signs up because I think he's quality and our strikeforce is one of the best in Europe capable of scoring goals against anyone. We need to get the defence sorted first and foremost because that's our weakest link CB. King is pure quality but the cold truth is he's unreliable we really can't count on him anymore until he proves himself by playing a full season with no lengthly injuries.
Regardless of all the shite the media and other teams fans spout off about us this current squad is one of the best in the league and very close to challenging the big 4 and turning it into a big 5 we just need a captain and some experience at the back. Ramos is one of the best managers in the world he'll get us sorted in January and then in the summertime he'll add some real quality, top players want to work with Ramos because he's a winner and Berbatov could stay here because of that I think he will.
Look at the other 4 managers in the running for European Coach of the Year you got Fergie, Capello, Ancelotti, and Benitez. Ramos is that calibre he wins trophies. We were 1 season early talking about breaking the big 4 but next season we're going to be a big force in the league it's plain to see if you just step back and take alook at the big picture. Ramos already has us playing quality attacking football and defending as a unit. When he gets a full preseason and has had the chance to tweak the squad to his style this league is ****ed we will turn it on its head and shake the **** out of the big four.
It's been said time and time again about what he did at Seville taking the title race down to the last day with Barca and Madrid on a shoestring budget and narrowly losing out but winning both domestic Cups and the Uefa. The reason we're getting so much shite talked about us at the minute by dickhead journos and other teams bitch made fans is because they see times are changing and we are turning into a force to be reckoned with. The sleeping giant is waking up and everyone is getting nervous and jealous but **** them our time is coming it's a new dawn at Tottenham and long may it last.
The Glory Days are coming back and I've been waiting since '89 not as long as some but still along fecking time of false hopes and hype. Ramos is a genius I can't wait to see what our team looks like at the beginning of next season I bet we'll be challenging for the title we might not win it next year but we will be up there and CL football will be coming to WHL. A big win should be registered against fulham to get us back on track hopefully Berba and Keano will hit the back of the net. I bet Berbatov gets 20+ goals this season too he's been looking like he's going to exploed here soon and could well go on a scoring streak in the second half of the season him and Keano will probably hit 20+ for the second season running.
Anyway I'm done typing I've got to type everything with one hand because I've got nerve damage in one arm and that was alot of typing for me.

You are right about Ramos on the second paragraph... He is actually rated by the UEFA as one of the best managers in Europe... So not only have we got one of the best strike forces in the Europe but one of the best managers :)...
Give Ramos untill next season (2008/09)... Then he will be ready for it, There will be more new and reliable signings and alot of new work done to the team...

I can't see him going to chelski but villa, pompey, or blackburn could be possible destinations maybe even city. It's a hard one to call really. I hope he signs up in the next week but if not it wouldn't be the end of the world. Ramos would bring in a hungry youngster to be 4th choice and we really wouldn't miss a beat.

I've had a good day today, 10 presents from my missus, shag...and a brilliant win for Spurs. I knew it'd be comprehensive today. Fulham are a poor side.
We've turned the corner now, I'm looking forward to the second half of the season.

These last 3 or 4 games is good for King to come back and get into action before we play the scum in the next 3 or 4 games... :)
Plus Keane is now the premiership top scorer... ten now I think? :D That just shows how capable we are of banging in goals...
Rooney has 10 as well i think.

Rooney is nowhere near. Keane is joint-second with Adebayor and Anelka. Ronaldo leads with 12. God I hate him.
Also should be noted: no Lampard!

I was at the game and it was quite a strange one. First 20 minutes were pretty dull and every shot we had seemed to go in. Malbranque was clearly our best player followed by King...great to see him back. If we had played at our best it would of been double figures today I reckon. Fulham were pretty terrible...but still cant complain about seeing 5 goals considering I was only over for the day..all in all pretty good.

A thrashing sometimes loses it lustre when it's against a team that can't be bothered. To thrash Everton 5-2 as we did a couple of years ago...now that was really something.

Indeed. Dempsey seemed to be the only player rolling his sleeves up for them...without him it would of been a training exercise!
