I have heard on the grapevine that the club have effectivley written this guy off. The general feeling is that he will never be good enough to play for Spurs. :o

Nice one Commoli, lets go through the list of "your" signings nad see who makes the grade;

1. Berbatov
2. Bale

Hmmm, that's not a very good track record is it?

Incidentally I hear Ricardo Moniz went mental at Commoli on Thursday when he announced to the players that Jol had been sacked. So that's another coah out of the door, only one of the most sought after coaches in the game...

Hold on, this is a player Monchi at Sevilla wanted. That's the Monchi who's bought low and sold high for them and many people think deserves more credit for their success than Ramos. The club sanctioned a 5.4 fee for him and are now writing him off a few months later? Can't see it. People that have seen him play for Hertha acknowledge he is a good prospect if a little full of himself.

Yup, I'm also told that Sevilla were offered KPB for £2 mil and Kaboul for £4 mil...

I'm only relaying what I have been told. He may fit well in La Liga but the coaching staff think he is too one paced and lightweight to make an impact in England. And yes, he's apparently an arrogant sod.

But seeing as our coaching staff has now changed... (?)

Yes, he looked one-paced, which I'd thought may be due to a lack of fitness. I'd be surprised if a young Bundesliga player, one of the brightest prospects, was unable to step up to the prem.

I think it's important to interpret the information given to you. Often it's been passed on with the original source(some way down the line) having an axe to grind. What fits in with the critique of the fees is Levy's apparent uncritical admiration of DC. Choda will be crushed if KPB is really a second-rate Jenas.

Were these palyer offered to Sevilla by their original clubs or by us to placate Del Nido?

Anyway, at present £4 is a rip-off for Younes "5th columnist" Kaboul.

Offered to Sevilla by their former clubs/agents. Draw your own conclusions.

The info was given to me by the same guy who told me that Jol had gone and Ramos had been installed...at 15:00 last Thursday. I didn't post it here because he would have gone apeshit.

Yeah, well the club is like a colinder at the moment, full of holes and leaks. I suspect that COYS got it from the same source as myself, some of us are able to keep things in confidence though. ;) :D

KPB described on the Guardian podcast by their man in Germany as a "street kid from Berlin, easily distracted, with a taste for night life. Had a good season in 2005 followed by a slump in 2006. Hertha were very surprised by the size of the offer for him(over 5m) and eagerly accepted it." Very much in tune with your report from the coaching staff.

It's a website and they have a few posters with close links to sources at the club.

That was posted on COYS by another poster, maybe your source is just a user on there!

I think I may have posted the original post on here, if not I can do.

I can quash this straight away Spur, I know who his source is and suffice to say he has better things to do than post on a fourm (unlike me of course).

Definately not. He is involved with the club in an official "unofficial" capacity, I can't reveal who he is as he would lose his position and the club would cease talking with him. I'm not really supposed to impart his gossip but as long as I don't mention his name or the organisation he represents I should be ok.

OK, i'm not doubting it of course.

I know where the Moniz thing is from now!

It was put up on Harry (knob) Hotspur's site, he said he was e-mailed by someone inside the club.

Take it as you will, but anything sounds plausible right now, especially considering this following quote taken from a dutch newspaper:

"Dutch technique coach has already let the board know on Thursday in clear wording what he thought about the departure of Jol.

Moniz said (to the paper): "This is such a terrible shame. I believe we were on a good path with a young squad.

I was at Martin's over thursday night to friday [discussing matters] and didn't sleep for one minute.

The next morning I didn't want to come to training, but at the request of Martin I went.

Now I'm going to sleep on things and over the coming days decide what I'm going to do."
