I don't get paid £60k a week either. Can I ask all Serie A footballers to donate a months wages to me out of the goodness of their own heart, or I will publicly name and shame them.

Funny I always thought that blackmail was illegal.

It was a days wages.I agree that public naming and shaming is wrong, but some players are so far removed from reality, it's untrue.

Nurses just want to be treated fairly, they do massivley important work and believe that wages should increase on the same level as Firemen, Coppers etc. Im not saying that they should earn the same wage but it should increase as regularly at a similar rate. The NHS just needs an overhaul 'behind the scenes' because they piss money away on things that are completely unnessecary. Another problem area is a lack of opportunity for progression because of lack of funds, its no wonder so many are starting to go abroad or into the private sector. The NHS are losing a massive number of talented nurses and sisters at the moment.

Schemes like 'Agenda for change' are great on paper but in theory they are very hard to follow through, almost to the point of being impossible. The AFC should have been completed in 2005 but its still going on....appeal after appeal.

Personally i think nurses deserve better pay, they do a ****ing amazing job and put up with so much shit. My mates a copper in the counter terrorism unit and he thinks the amount that pen pushing coppers get paid in relation to Nurses is an absolute piss-take. Coppers that go out, pull over a car or two then go back and do 6hours paperwork.........now just takes the piss.

The Internal Politics in the NHS has the potential to bring the whole thing to its knees.

@MJB, i understand what your saying about knowing the wage when you start, but surely you'd expect at least a yearly review or increase at the very least to mirror the increased price for a decent standard of living!
