It seems to come earlier every year , once again if you believe all the rumours our squad will hve about 60 players in it by the start of the season. I used to enjoy all the gossip , I now find it pisses me off. I put this down to our progress , we really do only need 2 or 3 quality signings, this linking with every tosser or galctico that may or may not be available smacks of a small town club. I for one will not be getting involved in it this year.
having said that , I cant believe we are being linked with Kewell. He gets injured thinking about football.

Well the 34 mil sponsorship deal didn't help much with silly season, but your right about kewell he's a hasbeen and WTF is that pony tail all about.

I think it's an insult, why would we swap someone of Defoe's quality for Kewell, who's deemed not good enough for Liverpool. Why the **** is he good enough for us then? I for one hope this rumour is bullshit.

i for one love the close/pre-season gossip linking us with various players and our players to other clubs. i find it quite exciting when there is talk of a big-name signing or a player unknown to the bulk of the spurs fanbase i.e. Berbatov. cant wait to find out who we do bring in

bit of a change this year tho, it always seemed to be we would try and bring players in, and in some ways we had to take who would sign for us. Now we only want the very top quality players and are prepared to wait (post rasaik) for the right buy.

I like it this way. After intense speculation for a fortnight, the club gives us a signing. This will guarantee interest right up to the WC; and 2 weeks after that, pre-season starts.

I agree with Chinaman, i love all the speculation, one of the best things (over the past 5 years) has been all the riduculas players linked to us...

Remember the Rivaldo link, Schevchenko and Davids... okay the last one isn't so riduculas!

It is great ! Not to keen on our players been linked to other teams though! Makes me really neverous, especially after the Judas incident!

First Kewell, now C Cole, when will we stop being linked to players that 'bigger' teams consider surplus? If they can't cut it at the top then why would we want them?
