"After Saturdays defeat I stayed in the ground waiting for the crowds to clear and got talking to a matchday Steward who gets to hear a bit of info in and around the club. He has a friend who works as security at Spurs Lodge and told me that twice since the start of the season Jol and Commolli have had to be physically seperated after squaring up to each other. Apparently one of the times was after a row about Kevin Prince Boateng, a Commolli buy who Jol refuses to even put in the first team squad.

I'm telling the story as I was told it, I haven't embellished it in any way and can't verify the authenticity of the story. If it is true, then it sounds like the internal politics of THFC have reached the training ground, and possibly the dressing room which can only be having a negative effect on the players. Mido made a passing shot about the internal politics at the club when he left for Middlesborough. Most of us laughed it off as the whinging of a player forced out of the club. Now however it looks like there was more than a hint of truth in his ramblings."

Now obviously you have to take it with a whole carton of salt, but still it makes you wonder. Just thought i'd share.

I think there is probably something to it....one of our production managers was up there recently with Spurs Media people looking to develop a piece, for the 125 years. It was noticed that the atmosphere was very very tense around the place, and it was said that a 'spat' between MJ and Comolli had been pretty heated and had 'shocked' staff.

It was also mentioned that there is some politics going on with regards those players selected by commoli and those by MJ....playing off one against the other.

whatever the 'whole' truth things are not right at the Lane....lucky we've had a good couple of years then, hate to see it if we hadn't.

Suppose thats y we dont see much of taarabt and KPB in first team games as martin jol is trying to prove a point. if martin is not willing to play his best team due to politics then he should go. hopefully it is not the case.

thats is a legitimate worry , i thought that might be why zak hasnt been playing as well .
if so, it is a childish attitude from jol , it aint the players fault and it certainly cant be in the best interests of spurs .

If that's true then why does Jol get irate in public saying no players comes in unless he wants them? And why does he big up the guys that come in? If this rumour was true then why would he say these things?

Also if it is true then it is an appaling way to run a football club, but I can't see it being the case because we have generally bought well and it would be a terribly inefficient way to spend millions for a club that has proven it is money efficient like no other in the last five years.

I can fully believe that Jol and Commoli have had fights but that could be because Jol won't veto a signing or that. It could be about anything actually. They don't seem get on in any case.

And if they have fights then perhaps rumours then get abound from the inside, even though people may just be speculating. And after all if you were to guess at what people might venture to speculate then it would be about guys who are being left out and that it might be that they were Commoli signings and not Jols etc.

But I don't believe that. Jol reckons Taarabt is the dog's bollocks and he said Zokora was one of the best when he signed him and that Boeteng was a great signing for now and the future. If he's not playing them it must be for his own botched tactical reasons.

That's what I think anyway.

Because Jol is very good at the political media interview. Have you noticed how his post match interviews are essentially just a blow by blow of what happened? He never gives anything away about what he really thinks or feels, at least not to the camera's. I honestly think Jol has had enough right now.

You could well be right. I've been saying for a while that if his tactical acumen was as good as his pr skills he'd be the best manager of all time.

Having said this his statements about the players and transfers at the club had a ring of authenticity about them. And as I say it would make more sense in terms of how we run our club.
