From what I heard last night and what the papers are saying about the plane ride home, it looks like Henry is gonna stay. My heart is saying YES hes leaving but my head is saying NO WAY he will stay.

I hope I'm wrong I really do!!!

What do you guys think?

Regardless, they'll be weakened by the departure of Cole and Pires. Berkampt is washed up. Gilberto seems to have lost a step. Who knows after coming back from a disastrous WC, Henri could ever raise his game again.

I prefer to look enthusiastically towards our improvement next season.

yer i know what you mean, i'm not sure he'd go to barca as they pretty much have the league sewn up, but it might help him with CL aspirations. I fancied he'd go to italy, but the league is a mess with all the corruption and investigations, which in no way will be sorted before the world cup. I think he might do one more year at the scum. The other thing is he's becoming such a focul point on and off the field, it must be like having two managers. I don't think it makes for a good dressing room when someone gets above their station. He's just a player at the end of the day.

The up side of it if he stays is that he could do a judas when the year ends and they'll end up with nothing.

i think you'd have to say not many italian clubs could afford to buy him, even with just one year left on his contract. It's been mentioned he might extend for a year, but i think he knows they're in a transitional state and their hopes fall on him. Glad he didn't have his shooting boots last night.

i cant see Henry leaving them. after last night he wont go to Barca and he wont return to Italy as the league is so shit and he had a nightmare in Turin. Madrid could be an option or if he wanted to go back home to France possibly Lyon but in my honest opinion i cant see him leaving them, unfortunately.

Henry could buy himself out of his last years contract if he wanted to, he'd certainly get the cash from his new club! I think he'll leave - if he was staying, why hasn't he committed yet?

I think he's a sad confused little french git who just got a hiding and doesn't know what the feck to do. It would be nice if he pulled a Cantona and just retired

That is exactly how I'm starting to feel as well, hope he stays so when we stuff them next season they'll have no excuses except for the ref of course.:D

it's not good news, fortunately wenger only gave him 30 mins against us and that was enough, with the help of a blind ref.

well that and the fact we suddenly seemed to forget how to play football cos we were suddenly shit scared of Arsenal and couldnt pass for toffee.

man to man him, hit him hard early doors , change the man marking him once his booked (as long as he hurts him the yellows worth it) , then watch him sulk the rest of the game.

the scum have a press conf at 2pm to announce terry henry is bloody staying presumably. I meant that if henry says anything about spurs fans in his reason for staying, i'm gonna vent about it to the FA. I thought henry should have been canned for his celebration at highbury, especially with all the cheat and liar business regarding our goal. Nobody mentions adebayor kicking stalteri when the ball is 3 feet away, to gain an advantage and a goal. Where's the sportsmanship in that. Only arsenal could want uefa to let a deliberate foul denying a shot on goal, to be dealt with in a way that makes the game look better. never mind you're cheating the opposition who had made the game look better by creating a clear chance. lehman committed a deliberate foul, which was given outside the area. So he not only would have handled it outside the area, and got sent off, he grabbed eto's ankle to trip him. It's a red card. Won't you don't see is that when he grabs his ankle the tackle could be deemed inside the box so they could have had a penalty too.
The FA need to get a grip of them, or it'll spoil our decent game.

In my opinion its a brave decision to stay with arsenal. He could have been playing for the best team in La Liga but instead he'll be playing for the SECOND best team in North London. Mug.

He'll come back from the WC so disillusioned that he won't be able to raise his game again. So don't worry. And our Lennon will become a super star.

I can't agree, Eto'o would have gone down anyway, as that is the Spanish mindset, they are taught to look for oppurtunities to dive, and the incident with Lehmann was one. He did look to have caught him, but I still say Eto'o would have been on his arse had Lehmann not even touched him.

Eto'o may well have gone to ground even if he wasnt fouled but he was and i dont see what was so contraversial about lehman being sent off, how can a player be allowed to stay on the pitch after such an offence.

Welsh Spur

I genuinely turned to my mate as soon as Eto'o got through and said "watch him hit the deck." And 3 seconds later, he was on his arse and the Barcelona players behaved in a way that could have incited riots, I would have been angry as f**k to watch the opposition try to get our players sent off. Despicable and another example of corrupt Spanish tactics.
