Not sure if this has already been talked about so forgive me if it has.
In Jol's press conference he said that he was upset that board members had been seen talking to Ramos in spain "I would be gutted if my missus went to spain to meet someone else and i saw pictures of her in the papers. But i know she'd come back to me, as she speaks french, dutch and english but not spanish. So she could not speak to the bugger! " Quality quote, but he goes on in reference to his relationship with Comolli. "From day one we have had a professional relationship. In fact, i was worried for Damien when i first saw those pictures of the directors in spain. I thought they were going for the seville technical director because he is the best..........and he speaks English."
He the man.

There is no way that MJ can look at Levy without thinking "what a tosser"
He has handled himself like a true peoffesional - and has been quoted as saying that the main reason for staying is the players, but most of all the fans reaction to him (6000+ emails a day telling him to stay and he is the manager for Spurs).
Top Bloke - may he be the man at the helm for years to come.

Should he end up leaving I will follow his career wherever he goes. He has been refreshing as a manager - it's nice to see someone like that instead of Fergie, Wenger or Mourinho.
And that comment about Comolli was class - what a legend.

The Commoli comment was complete genius, he pretty much said the guys second rate and got away with it.

I think it shows that he may also have reservations about him, too. All managers do though don't they, no-one likes a meddling "Technical/Sporting Director".

Indeed. Now that some more reports have come out of the woodwork about the Commoli signings, such as Zokora and Ekotto, against Jol's wishes I think he now feels confident he can be a little bit more vocal, without sounding like he is making up excuses.

To be fair we were all pretty excited about Zok. He did look the biz and I remember watching him in the last WC for Cote D'Ivoire....and he looked the shit then too. He looks like a different player since he came here, nowhere near what I saw before.
