I can't believe how bad both teams have started, but we seem to allways play the big teams at the wrong time. Just like derby playing us we were due a win and reaction from our players. Now man u are due a win, goals and a clean sheet.
I allways get the feeling we can beat a big team before the game kicks off but as i am a betting man i take these little hints like due a win into my accumilatar.
I don't think losing to united will shape our season but a good performance there is, i feel the game after that against arsenal will be the key to kick start our campaign.

We will bag a draw at Man U

Going to be a backlash early on, if we concede we'll concede again and go down without a fight, if we can grab our own goal - although not too early - we'll have them against the ropes.
Maybe best to score after halftime so SAF cannie use his hairdrier.

It's going to be a good game I reckon we could get something out of it with Rooney and Ronaldo out

MAn U have lost the nucleus of their team , now the guys wearing the shirts dont have the MAn U in them , just the wage packets .
DO Nani, Evra, Vidic, etc give a feck about MAn U the way Butt, Becks, Pallister Bruce Keane did .
still they are champions and Fergies getting fatter

I bet anyone we win 2 1... Just got a feeling bout it... Think Jenas will score first... Man U will equalise... Then Keane to score a beautiful volley similar to the first one against Fulham in the FA Cup...
:D :D :D :D

Alot of fighting spirit talk from you guys but can anyone see united 4 games into the season with 2points?
If we can keep them quiet by half time i think we have a chance.

need to try taraabt and even bring on KP Boateng. spurs need to stop giving respect to bigger and better teams and just play the way they intend to play. i see jol will prob just play the usual boring team e.g. taino and zokoro in midfield just to work hard and fight rather than create like the hudd and taraabt.
In my opinion we will probably concede at old trafford so our best line of defence should be attack and get more goals than them.

i agree with indianspur
taarb is going to be key if we're gonna beat them because hes such an unknown quantity and obviously likes to get at the oposing team they will have their hands full with him.
not sure its the right game to roll out KPB though. it might seem a little odd but i think i'd put hudd on rather than jenas because the ball that beats utds defence has to be a bit special and with taarb left and steed right doing the running play hudd can stand and lay out his passes, i also think he sees a pass much much faster than jenas. and i would play zokora for his energy to stick to scholes.
maybe KPB on the bench to replace steed when he gets his traditional yellow card or late on. and it'd be nice to have Taylor in by wednesday because i don't know if taarb can do what he does for 90min yet, hopefully we'll be 2 up by 60mins and Taylor can replace him :D
but yes i look at the manure squad and with whos missing would not be suprised at winning this. over the bloody moon, but not suprised.

agreed with proto and indianspur... If were gonna win, Taarabt is gonna be the man to get us the result, When you got a speedy skillful player like Lennon injured, you need a player like Taarabt to take place...
Our players must not give to much space for scholes to perform, that'll be lethal... We've seen what he can do when he's got space... Need to defend well... COME ON THE YIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeh i meant KPB coming off the bench. think its routledge id swap with taraabt though as he is right footed and watching steeds poor play on the right against everton im sure id leave him on the left.
maybe best not to change to much of a winning team but just to add our unknown quantity in to help mess fergies well developed game plan.
im hoping Jol does not become stupid and start moving jenas to the right to accomadate zok or taino.
