Doh! I'm having to go to my father in-laws 60th Birthday bash this Saturday. I at least I'll see the Spurs match but it's kind of the law that you have to watch the first match of the day of the season. Gonna miss it now!

How could your father in law be so selfish, having his bday on the first day of the season, what is the world coming too.......... ;)

I know, unbelievable isn't it? It's like someone having a wedding during the Cup final or something.

Same thing happening to me, one of the biggest games this season for the Swans on the 18th, Forest at home, and the missus chooses this day to move down here. Typical. Can't complain though, I been waiting for her to move down for 3 months!

I'm turning my phone and computer off, changing my name legally to Steve McSteve and taking my tv up a tree.

No bloody way i'm missing this one!

ooh, three and a bit days to go til the big kick off and for me the fascination for the next couple of days will be how many players Svennis of City can sign from youtube in the short space of time.

I reckon 4 - 6 none of whom will speak English and only one of whom you've heard of.

In the meantime, WHERE THE **** IS MY SEASON TICKET
