This isnt shaping up to be a typical 'friendly'. A few really meaty challenges have gone in already and there's only 5mins gone.

That BBC link is fine for those of you in the UK.

But us across seas can't listen.

Anyone have a link that would be handy for us?

Thanks.

Starting line up the one to be used against Sunderland?

Obv Bale will come in if fit...

Why am I thinking we'll struggle if thats the midfield...

Because we would buddy. They are all too similar, and the two wide men are wide midfielders as opposed to wingers. I firmly believe you must have at least one winger in a 442.

And of course you'd want the opposition to be afraid of at least two of your midfielders. I don't think Jenas scares anyone and neither would Tainio as an attacker.

First person back from the game?

Well, hold your breath, because Jenas (I thought) completely bossed midfield today. Very good game. Torino didn't really offer much except for some dirty challenges (which seemed to stop when the Hudd came on :) ) and some awful play acting.

Starting 11 all played well, in fact Berbs was the quitest of the lot in the first half!

Good run out for the lads.

If you are one of the ones with a balanced opinion of the Jenas then that's great news!

I won't count my chickens just yet even if it's true, but I've always said that dropping him or bringing in a good player in his position could give him the grand kick up the hole he needs and it could finally get him to play well.

God that would be magic if he started to fulfill his potential!

why, does Defoes other half and her identical triplet sisters come on, do a striptease then lick each other out on the penalty spot???

no? o damn, just a normal Keano goal then, pure quality:D

Left foot volley smashed in off the top of the left hand post from the ball coming over his shoulder, pure class.

Van Persie's was quality too, but this one was better due to technical difficulty.

Just got back to, berbs was quiet but showed great touches. Keano's goal was the mustard, but kaboul brave header was excellent to set up keano. Torino were dirty and yes they were shit scared of hudd and kaboul ( who never lost a header!).

Paxton end was so quiet it was unbelievable, the biggest laugh of the day when we sang paxton sing a song lol and still didn't. Shame there were empty seats and there was still a good atmosphere today and torino fans were also a laugh when we singled out one of there fat fans with fatty gis a wave lol.

And jenas look good, spraying the ball about all day long. And couldn't believe how big The Hudd was  .

COYS!

I'd like to know how we've managed to downgrade from Italian Champions Inter last season to survived by a point Torino in this...

I read on another forum that Malbranque was booed today when ever he got the ball.True?.If so it's a bit moody.
"Malbranque was brilliant, just a shame the fans treated him like sh*t- disgraceful behavior towards one of our own. I was embarrassed by the chorus of boos that constantly rung around White Hart Lane today.

good workout for the lads and Jenas did do well..lets hope its the indication of things to come...

Paxton is gonna be quiet..now its a proper family stand...priority will be given on ticketing to families...which means the Park lane will fill up quicker than it normally does and the only cat a tckts will be the top end prices.....

Love my footy love spurs...but hate the ****ing corporate shites that will eventually make going to footy like going to the ****ing theatre...polite clapping..and 10 pound programmes....

I heard Steed had a good game on the left today so it must have been STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!

Maybe Steed was just settling in last year and this year he could really do his stuff. That'd be great.

Im not a big fan of him i feel his hit and miss but i won't get into that, he had a good game today considering rocha was left back and he was being double up on. Keano was everywhere left back, right back he was brilliant and chimbo loved it out there with the spurs fans chanting him down the flank in the second half.

And kaboul looked great at the back especially at set pieces as even dawson was struggling to win headers from him :p .

Robbie's finish was ace, but is it me or was the actual set piece it came from absolute bollocks?

Nifty footwork to set up berba n'all. Was that Steed?
