I'm really not sure about this guy. Of all our summer signings this is the one I'm least convinced about. But prove me wrong Prince, prove me wrong.

He won the player of the year last year in Germany. He has a big reputation and is described as a 6' 2" talented playmaker who likes a tackle.
Is that the correct sign for feet and inches? I was educated in the metric system, despite everyone around me still talking in miles, feet and inches.
I hope he's as good as he sounds. Jol says he's in the same category as Lennon and the Hudd. It would be great to have a central attacker as good as them!
I'm very happy about this. All we need now is another top winger or two to add to the squad.

Dyer actually had a super season when he played. The only problem is he only played about 15 games, as usual.

He reminds me of Anderton alot the original sicknote. He had bags a skill and two bad legs.

hmmm not really a glowing report (excuse his english, it isn't great), but from a german footy fan/man on the street i know.
[21:16] proto: you know a player called Kprince boateng from hartha berlin?
[21:16] l: yeah
[21:16] proto: we just bought him.... is he any good?
[21:16] l: did you just by him ???
[21:16] l: oh
[21:17] l: ... i dont know if this was actually a good buy
[21:17] l: ... berbatov surly was
[21:17] l: ... but beotang
[21:17] l: ... he never made it in berlin
[21:18] proto: no? he's being talked up a lot in what i've read
[21:18] l: ( and berlin is really not a very great team ... nowadays ... sadly )
[21:18] l: ... he is pretty much ignored here
[21:18] l: ^^
[21:18] proto: oh shitbags
[21:18] l: no ... that doesent mean anything
[21:18] l: ... maybe he just dont fits Berlins way of football
[21:19] l: ... which is actually possible ... since they play usaly very very defensiv
[21:19] l: ... british scouts are damn well ... so guess totanham made the right decishion here ;)
[21:20] proto: so he is a VERY attacking player? you see him play much recently?
[21:22] l: not that often ... i guess because he didnt fit the system ... so probably he is actually very attacking
[21:23] l: ... but when your scouts like them, i guess he will fitt your way of football pretty well ...
Edit: he just added...
ppl actually say about him he is not a "team guy" and is actually damn often ill ( hurt ) ... another reason why i saw him that rarly ...

He never made it in Berlin? He was there from the age of 7. I don't know how you could get much more made.

14 assists last season and young player of the year in the bundesliga.
I find it hard to believe a guy who gets 14 assists would be seen as not making it.
Are you sure this guy knows dick?

Very revealing that he said KPB is "actually damn often ill". That seemed to be an issue in the completion of the transfer. As he said that HB are very often "very very defensive" it may be that their manager's attitude didn't suit him since he is an attacking player.

like i said, hes a regular armchair footy fan. thats where that opinion comes from.
of course i hope hes wrong/ill informed but atm, hes the only person i know whos seen that much of him. before he popped up on the spurs radar a few weeks ago.
i didn't post his comments like it was jamie ***** oliver talking about school dinners

KPB seems like he has a bit of an ego(he calls himsel the Ghetto Kid!!), lets hope we can ship Mido out before he arrives, not sure if London is big enough for them both!!

well i have a german friend who told me about him 2 years ago. He thinks that KPB, Stefan Kiebling and Mario Gomez are going to be the next german stars. So, i hope he's right about him

I did read something about him not fitting the managers plans before, can't remember the details though...

You forgot a very LARGE detail mate, if this was true then they've somehow managed to turn Ghaly into a black man.

Ive just seen an extended interview with KPB on THFC TV and he comes across as a really level-headed young fella, he certainly doesn't lack confidence though. Speaks perfect english and seems to be really looking forward to showing the premiership what he can do.

that sounds cool, the obvious first hurdle some noobs to the EPL, especialy young one, must be confidence stepping out. doesn't mean he will hit the ground running, but its how you'd hope he'd be to have the best chance to do that. and like a lot of people are saying about him not fitting Berlins style/system, it might be like cutting the horse free from the cart too. i'm moving from cautious pessimism to quiet optimism about this guy, exciting prospects and exciting times :D
