I think Gerrard is going to be the important player in the team. If Rooney does manage to play then I think teams are just going to shit their pants at the thought of having to deal with Lampard, Gerrard, Joe Cole, Lennon, Rooney and Owen in the same team. I know I'd be expecting the worst. How do you deal with those 6 players attacking you? England really should be in Semis at least this year.

England has the best team the've got for years... Agree with Welsh spur, at least they have to get to the semis...

I should have said that they should make at least last 4, on paper, but Sven's the manager so even with this team I wouldn't take nothin for granted!

Not a chance the manager is a complete **** and we all know it. We should win, there is no excuse for losing.

well if we win our group we will be in line to play Brazil in the semis , until then its possibly Poland, and then Holland or Portugal .
might be better off finishing second then its possibly Germany, then Argentina, so maybe we should try to win the group.
