Don't wish to be petty..but do many other yids object to the splashes of red on our home shirts..first thompson and now mayb lg or mansion....both with red logos....it seems bit daft that the club sells never red line of merchandise in shop..but its ok to hav red on our shirts...

I know money talks and we need good sponsors in our bid to push onwards..

but It does bother me a bit...nyone else?

No, if they double the amount, I wouldn't even mind if they insist we play in red jerseys.

No no no - that is going way too far, a little bit of red is ok for alot of money, but red jerseys? No money would make me wear red.

I'm more of a practical guy. Give me enough dosh, I'll do it.

We need to compete with the big boys, and that means getting serious deals. If it involves a bit of red... that'll just have to do.

Another question is why should we give the Arse a monopoly on a good colour.

That's like saying you can't have red stripes on your boots! Who cares? Its not an arse logo!

Does anyone know when the new tottenham kit will be released and any idea what it looks like?

Firstly Arsenal wear a tacky combination of Maroon and Gold, NOT red. Secondly, I think the gripes over colour are a little silly. If those of you who really object to the colour red are to be watching the world cup in the coming months, what England flag will you be flying? I don't think there's a Blue-Cross version in circulation at the moment.

july and it will probably be of the same design as the czech national kits, as well as the ivory coast, switzerland, paraguay (away) etc...the puma world cup teams!

Yes, July is when the shirt is due.

And the whole thing about colour is petty...it means nothing, we'll always be the lilywhites!

Spur

There are Spurs versions of the St. Georges, and colour matters alot.

Fine we won the World Cup in red and we have a red shirt, that chances are I will be wearing, but it is the only red I own.

FFS, are you really saying we should reject a potential sponsor because they have red in their logo?!?!?!

I was talking about the suggestion of wearing a red shirt. That is absolutely crazy.

I'm not so sure about that now.

Because Hamburg and other clubs have officially realised their puma kits for this year and they bear an uncanny resemblemblence to the current spurs one being paraded around teh internet.

For example:

Look very VETY like the mansion one shown today to be honest.

ive got to say mate that if someone wants to give us £34m to have their red logo on our shirts thats fine by me.

what i do have a problem with is the reason that the logo HAS to be red. why not blue? the reason i say this is because of the fact that mansion were gonna sponser manchester united before us, and it wouldnt have been red on their fookin shirts would it? it would have been black or white.

SO WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE FOOKIN RED ON OURS????

Mass manufacturing...they can't even be arsed to design shirts for diff teams anymore, now they just make one and alter the crests and sponsor. bullshit.

all the companies do that though, adidas, nike, kappa, diadora etc.

the new man utd shirt is like portugals for example. liverpool and chelsea will have almost identical adidas designs, along with france, germany etc. liverpools new yellow away shirt is the same design as spains home and chelseas away. i guess its just how its done nowadays.

im hoping though thta we have the spurs crest watermark on the shirt like hamburg.

So I'm assuming Liverpool and Chelsea have defected from 'Rbk' and 'Umbro' respectively? Actually I remember hearing bout Chelsea. Where did you see they have their badge watermarked? That sounds like a good idea and I reckon it would look really good.

well rbk was bought out by adidas so theyve switched liverpool over, although bolton and citeh stay as rbk, obviously, adidas want the exposure. chelsea signed that new deal last year, along with samsung.

check the hamburg kit. see the dark pattern across the LHS of the torso and left arm, thats the watermark im referring to. the czech rep, austria, swizterland, cameroon etc all have the same with their respective national logos, it would be cool if spurs had the same.

Yeah, it's good, also, some one mentioned changing the colour of Mansion logo, I think it should be blue/navy defo, in keeping with our colours it would just look better.

they its mansions logo, they would want it being altered as it infringes their own image.

i like the look of the kit and a little bit of red wouldnt usually bother me but when its the only other colour on the shirt its a bit of a let down but its a club record sponsorship so ill let it slide.................this time.
