was reading the thread on spursweb about a 34m mansion sponsorship over 4 years. Thought that was a bit down on the quotes for LG recently. Anyone know what the thomson deal was worth??
The puma deal is worth 5m a season so that's pretty good.

Well if my calulator is right, thats 8.5mil a season which I think is pretty good. Any deal will almost definately include bonuses and say we get CL next year, it will prob be boosted up too.

i think we had some money to spare anyway, especially after selling the bench to pompey and then rasiak for 2m lol. bloody good business really.
with probably 12-15m a season coming in from the combined shirt and team sponsors it'll keep us ticking over in the market for a few years. having said that we have a good young team with only a couple of first team places to fill. you'd expect that to be sorted this window.

racks up to nearly 18m. Now obviously we might not sell all of them, and i'm only guessing at values. but i think the majority are a fair ask.
we'll obviously top up the ressies with some young talent, but that's a nice wedge to start your spending with.

to be fair only davids and stalteri have been starting regularly. we have cover for both gardner and murphy/davids. if we play a left winger the centre mids will only have two positions to fill and we have carrick, jenas, tainio, ghaly and hudds. The rest aren't contributing to the first team apart from the occasional sub. I'd expect that many to go as most of them aren't good enough quality.

The sponsorship has been revealed today 'A Minimum £34m' over 4 years so lets hope they do us and the shirts proud. My gooner colleague has already said it should be called 'shithouse' not mansion.

Honestly I can't see Murphy leaving. really. he hasn't really had much of a chance and I don't think he was bought for 6 months only. People are over critical of a lot of our players IMO.

remember rasaik?? I don't think murphy would have been bought as a stop gap, they would have hoped, as i did when we did buy him that he'd do well. The problem for me is he should be playing where jenas plays and he looks well lost and out paced so far. He did settle slowly at scousers and charlton though. I think we bought him as he was available, and with probably davids going, we'd need another player. If he doesn't produce however that's a different matter. It's interesting that we bought ghaly who was carrying a knock. He must be highly thought of for that to happen. I think both davids and murphy will go. Bring on the hudds.
