I was just browsing the spurs squad profile on the BBC sport site and stumbled across an amazing stat. In 231 apperances for the yids the King has been booked only 6 times and 0 red cards!!!!!
For a central defender and the lynch pin of our side I found this no. of yellow cards staggering!

Apart from Gary Lineker, who went throughout his whole career, without picking up a yellow card, can anyone think of any other players, either yids or other teams, with such an exceptional disciplinary record?

Now if only he had a healthy body to go with that impeccable disciplinary record!We are different teams with & without Ledley!

it's a good stat but i would be telling him to drive there centre forward first chance he gets.

True, in a way, but he's just excellent.

I wouldn't try to lecture Ledley!

Besides we have Dawson and Kaboul to dispense the friendly welcomes.

he plays the game as it should be played , no histrionics ( spe) and is honest , i think the refs pick up on this and thats why he doesnt pick up many cards .
alomg with the fact that he is quick , doesnt have to dive in obviously helps .
