I just went on newsnow.co.uk, and a news article read:
Tottenham boss Martin Jol in frame for Boro job
I mean, come on, at least have a rumour with some foundation to it! What a crock of shit! I hate these goddamn internet sites posting stories that are completely fabricated. Why bother?

He's the best manager who's been at the club in my time. Granted, I've only supported Spurs since 1994, So Gerry Francis would have been the first manager of my time. And they've all been shit. Jol has brought on my best ever period with Spurs and long may it continue. Finally I might be able to stop watchin my mates' teams in Europe and at the top level and brag about our latest Superstar signing. I'm looking forward :D

So the list of managers since you've supported Spurs goes as follows;
Francis, Gross, Graham, Hoddle, Santini
Jesus, you must be a ****ing saint! How depressing. I guess the only way is up though and you haven't had to live with over twenty years of disillusion and heartache!
Either that or I blame you for our abject faliure over the past 12 years, why don't you switch to the Goons and test the theory?;)

Yeah but at least you got to see Ossie's famous five, that was the best fun I've ever had in a season, ok we nearly got relagated but it was SO exciting! I still miss Illie, who is widely considered to be the most talented footballer ever to play for the club, shame he was more interested in women and parties! And at least you've got one FA Cup final to show for it.

It's all true. Jol watched the 4-0 pounding and realised that Boro were the future.

I agree that the story about Jol is complete wank, but i have to disagree with the hatered for internet sites spouting shite!
It is the only thing that keeps me going during the long summer months! (WC will keep me going for a while but it's just not the same as watching the spurs) Checking newsnow and the spurs web site is part of my daily routine along with getting angry at Carrick being linked with manure and praying that Torres is actually coming to the lane!
You have to take it with a pinch of salt, but long may it continue!
