And I saw a post that said this guy tore Portugal U-21 apart. He apparently went right and left and just made Nani look like a general waste of money.

He's left footed. A left back or a left winger. I'm not that informed here, but he looks the biz. I'm sure Jol is aware of this guy, and I'd imagine Jol is in Holland watching the championships.

You beat me to it..was gonna start a thread about this guy. Okay have only seen hm play twice..but he looked exceptional. Real pace and fantasic crossing ability.....and he's dutch obviosuly...and when was I watching yesterday I couldn't help wondering if a certain Mr Jol was watching...

I know it may be naive or premature to rant on about this guy but I really was impressed. The under 21 tournament has been pretty dull thus far and this guy is the one who has caught the eye and in particular because he operates on the left side. I mean he was exceptional at taking people on down the left and whipping in a fantastic cross..time and time again i might add. In some cases he was whipping in balls he had no right to do given the angle he had and his positioning on the pitch...a couple of great chances he produced but were ultimatley squandered by others...I hope Spurs are monitoring the situation..:)

I've just been browsing around the spur community and there seems to be a widespread and collective hard-on for this left winger.

I think he plays for Feyenoord...I have a funny feeling that we may get him..if we show signs of interest earlier on..there may be a feeding frenzy for this kid...he's totally suitable to the tough style of premiership and would expect him to adapt relatively quickly...

Also a type of player we dont have...not just cos he plays on the left hand side..the kid has everything..pace, power,vision for pass,versatile - can play all over midfield, and most importantly his crossing ability..

It seems we are not that heavly link with the young star. If i was a scout i would be telling Mr commoli and jol to act fast before other clubs come sniffing.

Yer i watched him last night and he showed glimpses of a very talented player. He's only 20 and he crossing ability looks great and the skill he has is breath taking. I not sure if he would be a starter for us as i think he may need time to adjust, but then again he could do a lennon and blow us away.

I would snap him up straight away and hope the transfer talk is concrete.
