Paper talk.

I don't think we'll see anyone important leave. Next year is make or break. If we do it we'll have a top class squad for more years to come, if we don't alot will leave and our chance gone.

But for now no one will go anywhere, apart from the Mido's and Danny Murphy's of the squad.

Wouldn't want him to leave, good player. I sometimes think players like him aren't noticed as much until they are not there.

Hypocritical to think we wouldn't sell though - he kinda never gave wigan a choice did he? It's paper talk but its gone on too long now, Chimbo's gone. Personally I think he'd do well at Chelsea but i hope to god he's proper settled here now.

Two reports in the NOTW with no quotes or anything and he's gone?

He's already stated he's looking forward to next season with us as well!

He's got 3 years left on his contract so there's no pressure to sell. I'm sure there'd be no reluctance on his part to transfer to Chelsea. It took long enough to get him here in the first place that I can't see Levy letting him go just for a £4m profit. Selling a player a season to the top 4 would also signal the best we'll ever achieve is 5th and a cup run.

I hope it's a load of shit. But is it me or does he give of this feeling that if a big club came calling he would leave with no hesitation?

Yeah i agree,i think if Man U, Chelsea or a big European club came in for him he'd be off.

It's been said before but he didn't show any loyalty to Wigan, so if Chelsea or someone came along I'm sure his mercenary instincts would kick in and be gone before the ink was dry on the deal.

I hope he stays because he was a big difference last season and he's going to be important this year also.
