thing is, its not only the lost revenue, its also the fact that being in the champions league can attract better quality and standard of players to the club and make those already there more likely to stay. No amount of compensation can make up for that, no ones gonna say o youve got ten million compo i'll come play for you in the uefa cup then are they.

I hope Levy sues the pants off everyone he can , esp the English premier league whod no doubt much rather have a group of mainly non english players representing them in the CL than a group of mainly english players .

it wont be a replay but it should be . thats two seasons the EPL staff have cost us, last season their ref and assistant didnt see the ball over the line at Man U and that cost us UEFA cup spot and now this . Maybe we should play a bunch of black french and african players or some Deigos then theyd like us

I'm up for compo. I don't think we'd have made much of an impact in CL, to be honest I'd have been over the moon with QF's....but we can defo do better in UEFA...not like Boro's 4-0 spanking.

Do the fans of other teams actually think that in the same situation, their club wouldn't launch an appeal? And they'd be whinging then, and "everybody" else would be telling THEM to shut up!
