Bale is brilliant news it really is!

Although i now believe we are just missing two pieces to the puzzle to propel us into the so called big four next season!

What positions you may ask?? well its pretty simple a really good left winger and a really good central midfielder.

I think that pederson and reo coker would be good assets myself but would just like to no who you guys think we need and also if anyone has heard anything about some possible deals at white hart lane???

Let me no what you think guys!

We love You Bale We Do!!!!!!!!!!!!

i feel Bale will be used a lot on the left midfield interchangable with Lee still left back kind of killing two birds with one stone whilst doing 3/4 of the job. And we dont need MGP for the dead balls now
So aaron back on the right teaming up with Chimbo .
Else Martin Petrov will be coming, we got Mal,Tainio,Zokora, with experieince, Hudd coming thru and JJ solid starter , depends if Defoe stays then we dont NEED anyone , if he dont id still like Nugent , hell even if he does stay id like Nugent .

Mido, Ghaly, Ekotto, Murphy, Ziegler (is he still here) sold, Routledge mmmmm on loan but where we can recall him

and lastly, and i think most importantly a new training ground like the old fabulous Mill Hill trainign complex we had to sell in the 90s to fund Linekers bad toe operations :p

Another leftie (proper winger pls!), another CD (and sell Bambi), ditch Mido, Murphy and Ziegler, another CF (Bent?), recall Routledge.

Oh, and the express are linking us with Owen. I like.

Me too. I want a real leftie, and despite my constant criticism of Routledge, if we can't get a back up winger in then I would like to see him back as back up.

And to be honest he hasn't been given a chance really yet.

He hasn't really caught the eye out on loan either. Virtually anonymous. Sure he'd make good back up though. It's up to him to improve, if he stays this time.

So that would mean the exit of Defoe, right? I feel a poll coming on.....

....Owen or Defoe?

As has been remarked before, Owen's on £115k a week at Newcastle. He might be willing to drop down a bit for ManU or Liverpool but there's no chance of him signing for Spurs.

The main targets appear to be a striker and left midfielder. Letting Defoe go along with Mido would mean needing to sign 2 strikers. Routledge is back from Fulham but no word of whether he fits in to Jol's plans. Ziegler is content to stay at Sampdoria and he has no future at Spurs. Ghaly may be given another chance but there are a lot of rumours about Tainio being available for transfer.

Not sure about that Jrio - any player with half a brain who signs for Newcastle (oxymoron acknowledged) knows that they won't get their wage matched when they go elsewhere. Owen knows the Barcodes are no good for his career and I think he's the kind of guy that will allow football and not finance to dictate his future club(s).

Sure, but I can't see him going to a club not in CL or accepting much below £100k a week, which ManU et al would surely pay him, especially as any fee could be as low as £9m. Geographically, the NW would also be more acceptable to him.

how about Gareth Barry as a left winger????

Too slow for me.

Plus i don't recall him crossing the ball at all recently as he's usually playing centre mid so i have no idea if his delivery is any good.

i think micheal owen has just started a huge training complex up north ( horses that is ) , he is mad on the sport and im sure that he wants to be close to that , so i think that would rule out any move down south if nothing else . anyway i know im in the minority but dont rate him nearly as highly as everyone else .
