England Squad Announcement and predictions.

With just an hour to go until sven the swede names his provisional 27man squad who do we think will be included? Numerous reports seem to think that Theo Walcott will be named which i find unbelievable(as Chris Kamara would say), he hasn't made a single appearance for arsenal in the premier league this season. I can't see how he's even been considered, there are numerous players that should be ahead of him in the pecking order!! He's only made 13 first team starts, none in the prem.

I've heard that 27 school children are going to parade in, each one with a players name on their back. Its only a squad announcement, just a bit over the top. Although it would be so funny if a mischevious kid changed the name on another kids back. Campbell out, Dawson in!!

They reckon Lennon, Walcott, Hargreves, Carson all as back ups...

Then the squad is pretty much what you'd expect.
No sign of Jenas what so ever.

maybe they will drop jenas in favour of lennon, who for a start isn't injured, and is a more attacking option on both wings.

In the friendlies that have been played since the world cup qualification was secured Sven has played it safe, Same players, same formation. Why start ringing the changes now? Apart from our own jermain and ledley, the player i feel the most sorry for is Darren Bent, WTF does this guy have to do to get in the squad, for him not even to be in the back-ups is a complete joke!! Andy johnson has not been included in recent squads and has hardly played for England(apart from a poor right wing display!), but here he is ahead of the top scoring englishman in the premiership. Is Sven a heavy drinker or possibly on drugs? Or maybe is he only partly responsible for picking the team, david dein maybe?
