Correct my maths if I'm wrong but this would hand us 62 points at the end of the season... while Bolton can only get 61 with their 2 games remaining.

What this means is 5th place is IN OUR HANDS, no one elses, no hoping for other teams to slip up (which I always feel guilty doing, I love the way Bolton have riled the big teams this season, and Pompey have been a bit of a fresh air, if not an annoying gnat gnawing at our UEFA cup hopes!)

5th place means this season equals last season, while we also had fantastic cup runs, and great free-scoring games, Bolton I remember in particular!

So my question is, do you think we can get the maximum from these three games? For some reason we seem to make life difficult against the relegation fodder fighting for their lives, while the result against middlesborough, for example, never seemed in doubt. I predict maybe a draw against Charlton (not enough for them) while maximum points from the last two games.

Here's hoping matey, here's hoping. All depends on the players resolve more than their ability now I think.

If we beat Charlton on Monday we will finish 5th, no doubt about it.

I think we will draw at charlton as we are so poor away and they are fighting for there pl lives, that will leave us with 7 points as i feel that the last two games are at home and with the crowd behind them we will beat blackburn and man citeh.

We should definately win the last 2 home games, both Blackburn and Man City have little to play for. Charlton will be tough, but if we play to our full potential we should win.
