C'mon guys! It aint that bad.:(
If it hadn't been the scum the pain would have died down already.
The reality is, whether you agree or not, is that we just simply ain't good enough. Not the end of the world when you consider where we ended up and that this is really the first season after some major rebuilding. UEFA cup will prove to be good experience for the younger players and we may have a good chance to win it. If we don't then we can at least gauge our development.
We can't beat anyone above us in the league and we draw with teams that we should have beaten. We also won games that we maybe didn't deserve to. Then you have to look at the domestic cup runs! We need to toughen up and believe in ourselves.
We have a great backbone of talented players and with some slight adjustment and some minor additions we can be even better. The future is looking brighter then it has for a long time and i really don't think CL would have been right for us just yet.

Lets enjoy next season and maybe try and win a domestic cup as well!

COYS!!!!

PS. Can someone stop those Scummers getting on our site?

Some fair comments there JuicE, i have had to wait until now before i could bring myself to post. The disapointment is still raw, and as you rightly say it wouldnt have been so bad if it wasnt the scum. I hate them bunch of ******s so much!!! Arsehole ****** grinning like hes just walked into a primary school makes me fill with rage.
That aside, i think everyone would agree 5th place and UEFA cup to look forward to next season is still above everyones expectations and we still have the pleasure of seeing an Henry-less scum next season. THEN we will see how good they really are. Looking forward to planty of action in the transfer windon and I Just hope we can attract the same calibre of players now we wont be in the CL.

Yep, as dissaapointed as we all are, the only thing we can do is look onwards and upwards. We've exceeded all expectations this season; we'd all of taken fifth if it had been offered to us back in August. We can now look forward to seeing our Lions doing the nation proud in Germany and await a European adventure next term.

**** the Gooners - we'll all see how good they are next year when they don't have Terry Henry to get them out of trouble.

Thanks to Marty and the boys for our best season since Klinnsmania - things are only gonna get beter from hereon.

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!

T-O-TT-E-N-H-A-M Tottenham!

Yes agree on the whole with Juice, but given the circumstances u cant blame us all for being gutted at losing something we've held for 4-5 months....

Let's look on the bright side boys, we've had a great season and progressed at a rate not seen since some bloke first started rubbing a pair of sticks together.

One season to learn our trade in Europe and then onwards to the Champions League. If we think about it logically, next season we should have;

1. A decent right back (not Lee, he's simply hopeless)

2. A proper left back (with a left foot and a semblance of positional/common sense)

3. A big, strong, skilful target man, preferably with commitment and without an over-inflated sense of his own worth

4. A left winger, not really fussed who as it has been an inordinate amount of time since Ginola left the club without being replaced

5. A backup to the King/Dawson central defence axis

6. Our own chef!

And just as important we should see M. Henry in a very fetching red and blue striped kit.

I'm so proud of what the club have achieved in a short space of time and the calibre of player pulling on the Lilywhite shirt. It wasn't long ago that we would have had Allan Nielsen competing against Viera and Keane and Ramon Vega taking on Shearer and Henry, how time change!
