Good on them. Players always get alot of stick for they're high wages and percieves easy lives, justifiably at times, so it's good to seem them put something into the community like that.
BTW, on a personal note, I went to the school Dawson's on about in Northallerton, with his brother Andrew. Cool huh?

Met Ian Walker a few times at Selhurst park as i would get players lounge tickets for Palace V Spurs & Wimbledon V Spurs, My Aunt worked on the sports desk at the local paper(Croydon Advertiser)and would give me the tickets. Met most of the players between about 93 and 2001 ish. Mabbutt is my favourite by a long long way, the nicest fella ive ever met.

Yer im down that way, i used to get tickets to spurs wimbledon games. I was there the night iverson lobbed sullivan ( but who didn't lobb him lol) which annoyed me because i had to get the food and couldnt celebrate as i had to protect the food. The only spurs player i met and got a autograph was colin calderwood..................you can all feel sorry for me now!

I bumped into Ginola in the Metro Centre in Gateshead when he played for Newcastle. He was buying a pair of shades in the Oakley shop. You wouldn't think it from the number of tumbles he used to take, but he's ****ing huge!
