oh well the nitenmare has happened and the scum have pipped us in the most awful way imaginable ( think i'll wake up any minute and it'll be sunday morning and the radio will be saying wenger's slagging off pardew for fielding his entire youth team against us today !)
But what bout next season? Personally think we need couple of top line players to get into top 4 next season - cant see us finishing ahead of the the blues, the scum, unt or lpool with the current squad next year!
so who should we go for ? ( yes know it'll be harder now we not in CL) Have been strong rumours bout robben leaving chelsea all season and jol is a admirer of him - personally think he'd be a great signing!
Also in view of fact it looks like Van Nistelroy's career at utd is over should we go for him? Offer a swap for defoe? Again think he'd be a great signing?
With robben on one wing and aaron on the other - and a quality striker like Van N to take the chances theyd create - we'd take some stopping! Okay we'd let a few in but hey thats spurs isnt it!
As for this season well yes we'd all have taken 5th at the start of season - but dont think many of us would have at halftime at highbury 2 weeks ago!
but still well done spurs - and MJ in particular - for giving us our best season since sherri and jurgen were in tandem a decade ago!
Proud of you spurs - oh and COME ON BARCA!
