I hate to be a killjoy, but can't you just see it?
Nothing to play for and with morale so low, I can just see us ****ing up in the P'ship, even with 5/6/7th available.
And the Goons have been on a shit run, what better game for them to salvage some pride then at our ****ing expense.
Roll on next bloody season.

Please please please - please no european hangover..we have to pick ourselves up straight away..starting against a poor Wigan side we should beat if we play anywhere near half decent

Yeah... the upshot is that our fixtures just cleared up so let's say "**** it" and make bloody sure we're back in Europe next season!
As for the Arse, shoot Jenas in the gonads, play Tainio, and kick the living **** out of them!

This year's 'usual tepid end to the season' was called off for about...hmmm...5 months. Feel happy for that.

Good point
But will it occur now?

We have to finish 8th.
When you look at the table you have Arsenal, Bolton, Everton, Spurs, Portsmouth and Reading finishing 4th-9th.
I have complete faith we'll do it.

True enough, but we can't always finish 1st hastings! We have to let some of the others have some glory too...
If you had told me this time last year we'd be struggling for UEFA I wouldn't have believed it. With hindsight it's what happens to every team, especially a young one. Think Everton. They were nothing last year after qualifying for CL.
Bolton will struggle next year. We will be better next year. Our players have grown, our Club has had to re-grow. Everyone will be better off for it. Except the fans pockets of course...

We should definitely beat Wigan on sunday, but it depends on what Spurs team shows up.
The rest of the games, apart from Arsenal, aren't that hard and we should pick up alot of wins.
In regards to the Arsenal game, we'll get beat, we havven't got the mental strength and quality to compete against them. Sure we'll do really well for the 1st 10 mins, but then it'll be all Arsenal. :(

I can see it coming down to the Manshitty game. With us needing to win to secure euroball and them needing a win win to stay up and it being a draw and both get fu*ked over :(

I am realistic. Last season had a tepid end? A dramatic one but hardly tepid. The nature of the thread seems to suggest that we are just going to fizzle out, on what evidence, that we won the last 5 out of 6 Premier matches?
Have a little faith, not blind faith, but a little faith at least.

And last season was the only one of its kind. The rest has had exactly that - Fizzling out. I can just see it with a Euro hangover. I want to be proved wrong.
