Who's gotta go?

It's got to be Jenas, Mido & Defoe for me

Mido
Ghaly
Murphy
Routledge

That's it. The rest are all good for the squad.

I can agree with those, then we can bring in a good Left Winger, a good backup striker, or two maybe, and then reinforce ourselves with a backup Right Winger, the Centre of Midfield is well catered by many players, but apart from Lennon we have no real first team Winger, so that will have to be fixed, Rocha seems to be doing well in the Centre of Defence, so no complaints there, since King will or at least should be playing again next Season regularly. As for other positions nothing really springs to mind at this time, perhaps a new left back and a backup right back?

Id LOVE Morten Gamst Pederson to sign for us. And maybe Beattie to replace Mido as long as he's happy sitting on the bench.

These are all the players that I feel are not good enough for us, and need to leave, although I realise alot of these will need replacing!

Here goes:

Stalteri (Absolutely appalling footballer)
Rocha (I know we just signed him but looks cack)
Ifill (Seen him in reserves, not good enough)
Ziegler (Never given a proper chance imo)
Murphy (Strange signing)
Ghaly (Gives ball away far too much)
Routledge (Never given a chance but looks cack out on loan)
Jenas (Always a passenger in matches)
O'Hara (Not gonna make it)
Mido (Lazy, slow and bad attitude)

MIDO MURPHY & DEFOE if he dont buck his ideas up

No he isn't. Not the best technically, but I still like him. Hero.

Ideal summer signings would be:
Bent in place of Defoe
Bale in place of Lee
Pedersen on the left with Malbranque moved to the middle and Jenas moving to the bench.

You like him because he scored a tap in against West Ham!

For all I know he might be the nicest bloke in the world, but that doesn't hide the fact that he is the worst footballer in the premier league

A slight exageration dont you think?

A player that played his first start in the league in a year so I'm a little bemused as to how you came to that desicion. He's good back up.

You act as if that two-bit tap-in wasn't the most glory-laden moment in our clubs recent history.

He'll be remembered because of it.

And he's not a bad player.

Guys I cannot believe what I am hearing! Have you all forgotten the amount of shocking games he had last season

Are you all trying to tell me that Paul Stalteri is actually a good player then? If so, name 5 right backs in the premiership that he is better than!

The expression 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder' springs to mind

I saw Stalteri in Schuh down Bluewater little after we signed him. His girlfriend / missus / bit on the side was either very fat or very pregnant. I'd say very pregnant though.

Have I ever mentioned this before?

It wasn't and he is. Spur probably has an encylopaedic list of his faults, just after the entry under Jenas. And just say "missus" Spur otherwise you sound very ungallant and a little crude.

Just love stickin it to me today ain't ya J?

Stalteri's actually a player I couldn't care less about. He's a nobody now he's a back-up, I doubt we'd be able to find better who would be content playing second fiddle to Chimbonda.

Jenas, Jenas and Jenas! May as well stop paying Murphy and Mido wages as well, and Routledge isn't going to ever make it I think. may as well make it permanant.

I think I'd fancy Jol having a flutter on Milner actually. Think he'd be a great Attacking Midfielder for us. Actually a raid on Newcastle for Milner, Parker and Duff would do me.

Well, I like him. That's all that matters to me and I hope one day I attend his testimonial.

All of them. Except perhaps Chimbo.

One of the sunday papers claims that we're in for Morten Gamst Pedersen at the end of the season for £5 million. Like most of you i think he would be a great signing, i'd also like to see Gareth Bale in the squad

Shuggie13

What Sunday paper was that? I really doubt Blackburn would let him go for that little, escpecially seeing he signed a new contract at the beginning of the season. I'd expect at least 7.5 mil.

Ziegler, Mido, Jenas, Murphy and possibly Defoe.

only way id get rid of Defoe would be if we could sign Bent or Yakubu for a similar fee. same applies to Jenas with respect to Joey Barton

stalteri. gardner, lee, murphy, jenas, mido. ziegler to go. need a left winger, pref pedersen from blackburn and a flair player in center mid who can unlock defences with a single pass. missing that at the moment. keane can do it but we need him further up the field. the hudd can do it but he is too far back.

i cant belive everyone wanting rid of Jenas, he will always be one of the first names on the team sheet, a goal scoring midfielder. who can you guys name that would do better that we could realistically sign and for a reasonable price ?????

Ziegler, Mido,murphy, gardner,defoe,routledge.

i like jenas i think he's been unlucky with injury's this season.

id like to see pedersen, bale and a tough tackling midfielder to come in.i also like leighton baines and giles barnes

Barton, Cahill, Arteta, Parker the list is endless. I can continue if you wish?

No likely prospect of Jenas leaving, but at the drop of a hat I'd give City £2m plus Jenas for Barton. I just think Jenas is a fair weather player. If Spurs want to progress beyond 5/6th they will definitely never do it with Jenas.

agreed , though jenas may have the skill , talent , and stamina to shine sporadically , he really doesnt seem to have the enthusiasm or application , grit or determination to make the step up from promising youngster/premiership journeyman to a top dominating international midfielder .

edit to add , though im not sure now if barton is the answer either , though it would be good to see if he could really blossom when surrounded by quality .

Wouldn't want Barton, over-rated and would bring a bad name to the club. Cahill or Arteta would be a quality signing

I have been really impressed with Arteta this season..would love it if we put it in a bid for him...he's quality at set pieces as well..
