They are only havin' a laugh. You see JD throw something then hide his hands? That's the banter of training.

Talking of fighting, spurs61 I wanted to ask you something about the Keane vs Davids title fight a couple back. What did you hear about what happened, because I was told the other day and was quite surprised by what actually went on.

As far as I remember the short version was that Keano is a bit of a joker and Davids is a miserable sod who takes himself too seriously. Apparently Keane was taking the piss out of Davids and then pulled his dreads, Edgar ****ed him and a bout of fisticuffs ensued. Of course nobody had told Davids that Keane is a former boxing champion! :cool:

Very similar to what I heard the other day then.

During training one of them went in the other rather hard, I forget which one, so they had a little shouting match. Anyway, after training when no-one else was around them in the car park Davids goes upto Keane and offers him out, of course Edgar, not knowing that Keano was Junior Irish Boxing Champ, gets knocked spark out one punch stylee.

Heard it was Keane on Davids and Davids confronted him outside the dressing room. Don't believe he knocked him out with one punch though, more like he knocked him down. Keane does have the discipline on the pitch of someone who boxed in his youth. Davids seems to have a history of similar occurrences throughout his career, often misconstrued as showing passion when it's really about his ego.
