Man City have just produced one of the most gutless performances of the season, thanks a lot city. Pearce a motivator? i doubt it.
C'mon boys, lets do West Ham and turn a good season into a great one!!

thought they played ok, just not very well balanced. Have to beat west ham now, i hope we go for it from the off. Also hope tricky bobby zamora doesn't come back to haunt us.

Who the hell cares what any other team does!!!
This is in our hands and I'm actually glad Arsenal won because it makes the day more dramatic. I don't want anyone to hand us anything and I was us to be where we are on merit.
Simple fact is it is all about the points at the end of the season and if Arsenal pip us to 4th spot then they beat us fair and square and it just proves we still have much to do (but I think we all know that anyway).
Regardless of what Sunderland or Man City could have done for us or whatever Arsenal do for themselves this 4th spot is all in our own hands.
All the boys need to do is win and it is as simple as that and we are more than capable of beating West Ham on our day.
Question is....
will it be our day on Sunday?

I hope so, I really do, then it's all on Barca on the 17th.... but shit luck, all the injuries come now, right before the last important game this season with 6 big players out...Keane is the biggest blow the guy is one hell of a motivational player to have on-field....but I think we can still do it, and actually have a reason to watch the CL final!!!!

Not to worry. West Ham won't be anywhere near their top form. So 3 points and 4th place to us.

yes it is in our hands but it would have eased the pressure, city were disgustingly poor. nobody wanted to close down, tackle or shoot. it was so poor and the deserved to lose 3-1 in fact if it was a half decent team they would have lost considerably by more

i don't think keane will be such a big loss, he was innefective against bolton and barney's introduction brought about some heart and passion and i think he'll do the same against west ham, bringing mido on late if we need to. They might even play dawson up front so he can get his goal. :0)
My only cncern is davids mentality, he seems to be equally loved and loathed by spurs fans, but i think his sending off against arsenal, which was totally justified, shows he lacks self control. Not good from an experienced professional, we can't afford any weak links now. Hoping hudds plays instead of davids.

I'd love to see us play the game at a really hight tempo from the start. Davids should definatly start, a few crunching tackles and the hammers midfielders will start to think about not getting to invloved in case they end up missing the final. Their final is next week............ ours is on Sunday, Poetic eh? took me ages to think that one up!!

i agree with the last post, davids should definitely start. hes a leader and we need a player like him in a game like this, even more so if carrick aint fit. opposing midfielders fear the guy. frank quadrue (boro) actually said that when his teammates found out that davids was fit enough to play against them earlier on in the season all there faces dropped in the dressing room

Oh yes getting Davids to crunch a few early on will put the shits up them, they wont fancy the possibility of missing the cup final next week. Davids to start!

If, as reported on some site Davids won't be at WHL next season he can tackle away (provided he doesn't get sent off) as he won't face a ban next season.
