From hopelessness to, well... incredibly realistic prospects of 5th place, 6th at least. Bolton, Reading, Portsmouth - all the pretenders (pretending to be Spurs 05-06) have fallen or are falling as we speak. Lets keep this up - a few more points from unexpected place (the way we're playing, 3 from the arse at home would be great) as well as more from the expected - and we should be fine.

Here's to the arse beating everton today...

Am I the only one that thinks we can get 3rd or 4th? It's only 8 points away for 4th, and on current form, and the CL that Liverpool will be focusing on I see no reason why we can't overhaul that, or at least give them a good run for their money.

After today it's essentially 10 points away with 8 games to go, allowing for goal difference. That requires making up more than a point a game on Liverpool. How ever much they focus on CL they're not going to drop that many, plus we will have even more distractions of our own if we beat Chelsea, and significantly more difficulties with injuries.

I had NO idea what I wanted watching that game. A draw, maybe.

I jumped up when they scored, then realised what it meant for us. Bollox, can't even enjoy the scum getting beaten by a bunch of pikeys!

no spur youre not the only one, i said the same a few days ago mate.

Arsenals run in is tough esp as theyre crap at the mo shame they scrapped it V Villa really . Liverpool im not sure of their run in but they seem to be losing it a bit , shame we had that poor run esp V Sheff Utd
5th is there for us to run away with if we keep form , 4th is a possibility but we have to win them all , the only tough one is Chelsea away at easter and maybe a 6 pointer at home to the glove wearing nonces (sorry not you Aaron) .

ok , 4 contests in the premiership

man utd or chelsea for the title , from a football perspective rather man utd won it , financially better if chelsea do , but think its in the bag for man uthough they still hve to play chelsea

3rd or 4th spot , i think out of our range , so between arse n pool , , pool have much the easier run in , so pool 3rd , filth 4th

5th spot between spurs, bolton , reading, everton

run ins

spurs -reading (h) , chels (a) black (h), wigan (a) arse (h) boro (a)
charlton (a) man city ( h)
i see 10 points from the home games , and 5 from the away games
for a total of 60 points

bolton - sheff u (h) wigan (a) everton (h) arse (a) reading (h) chels (a)
wham (a) villa (h)
i see 8points at home , 4 points away for a total of 59 points

reading - spurs (a) liver (h) char (a) fulh (h) bolton (a) newcast (h)
watford (h) black (a)
i see 9 points at home 4 away for a taotal of 57 points

everton - villa (a) fulham (h) bolton (a) char (h) wham (a) man utd (h)
ports (h) chels (a)

i see 9 points at home , i see 5 points away for a total of 60 points

so i have it coming down to goal difference between us and everton

unfortunatly, with our cup commitments , if we beat chelsea tonight i think we will slip up in the league .

as regards relegation its between charlton , sheff utd , wigan , city
i thnk wigan and city shud be safe , and although sheff utd have to play the current bottom 3 , with their top scorer out and a massive game against a seeming revived charlton away they look to me as though they will be going down with wham and watford
