makes sense really but i don't think they're the best credentials we've had for an england boss, although better than big sams and curbs. Wonder who'll be groomed after him, pearce perhaps. I should have had a bet on it really, it was a shoe in after the news about his affair sneaked out. Doh!
Be glad to see the back of sven anyway, he was a top class muppet and way out of his depth. The new arsenal coach for next season hopefully.

no i think he's got far more personality than we all give him credit for and could suprise a lot of people. who do we think will replace him at boro and who will replace Peter Taylor as under-21's boss when he is named as McClaren's assistant

Its not gonna happen but i would like too see Pearce take over at under 21 level, learn his trade internationally and then move upto McClarens number 2, further down the line!

He has the guts to change something without media pressure unlike Sven. He has changed to 3 at the back this season when situations depending on hi doing so - Sven would never do that which is why he is a joke as a manager. On saying that, he is still only the best of a bad, bad bunch and I feel very let down by the FA that we have not got Scolari, Hiddink or a big name proven coach.

I see another Graham Taylor coming on...
He'll buckle under media pressure, prove me wrong Mclaren, prove me WRONG!
Does he have to have that seedy little smile as he says;
"I'm so proud of my boys today, we gave it everything"
