on the captain subject, why is Robbo the next in line as captain after keane. yes he's a good leader and strong character but ive always been strongly against captain-keepers, whats the point they cant lead when their not in the game as much as an outfield player.

Went to a pre-season game when Robbo just joined the club, vs Cagliari I believe, at a pre-season game you can hear all the players a little bit as the crowd sings alot less than normal - except Robbo. You could hear Robbo a mile away. He does not shut up. If I were a centre-half i'd be shitting it all day long. Remember when Stalteri made a mistake and Robbo looked like he wanted to clatter him? That's why Robbo is thrid in line. Passion, loyalty (afterall he has signed a 7 year deal), commitment and very intelligent.

Fantastic both leds and dawson are signed up for years to come. could they end up the rock upon which the new manager builds england. All spurs need to do is make sure Jol never wants to go with a big contract and plenty of money ! would Leds have signed up has hoddle or santini still been in charge??

Yes !! Keano & King have now both signed for 4 more years. Robbo signed a 7 year deal, so all we need now is for Carrick to sign an extension & we'll have our British spine in place for years to come.
