We miss ledders that much that basically we're a one man team ive not seen such a shower of shite try and play since klinsmann saved us from relegation when he came back for his 2nd stint at the lane.

Dawson and the rest look lost without him and daws is doing the work of 4 men in his absence.

I sometimes dont think jols up to it but i say give him a chance untill at least the end of the season because i think he'll bring us the UEFA Cup!!

HURRY BACK LEDLEY KING :(

Deluded.

King will offer nothing.

The team as it is can win games, they just aren't for whatever reason.

We aren't a one man team but if you listen to Jol for the past three months you'd have thought we were. The way Jol has been spouting about not having King and Lennon fit you'd have thought they were out only two decent players.

The King prevents other teams scoring but has little or no influence in our attacking exploits. We need help with both at the moment, looking at the three sides promoted this season, we've managed to score a grand total of five goals in four games and gained four points from a possible twelve. Call that progress?

Not that i've been looking and not that we've had much to celebrate in the way of goals but If Ledds is the main man he could be on the touch line ala Henry should we fortunate enough to score/win.

Not the silly dance routine but at least an acknowlegement from the players that they are doing it for the skipper/team/club/supporters in his absence.

That's down to the player and manager though. Let's be honest, if Leds doesn't shout at the players when he's playing why would he do it from the touchline? I'd rather have a proper leader at the club to inspire the players and his manager in the same vein as Terry, Gerrard and Henry. Sadly we won't get a genuine captain until we change managers, Jol is just too insecure to allow anyone else an influence on the team and the way they play. He has now succesfully purged the club of any natural leadership skills in the same way he removed any wide players other than Lennon. Give Jol another year and he will have totally destroyed what was going to be the best Spurs squad since 1987.

King cannot transform the club around by himself, the notion is ridiculous

So your saying we dont need him?? and we dont look like a more solid unit at the back with him there??

Does he not lead by example??

Not really, he's quite quiet.

Great defender, but the defence isn't our biggest problem. The midfield is.

We may concede fewer goals but would we score any more? I think not. If we are relying on King's return to alter our prospects this season then it is a very sad day for Tottenham Hotspur and the death knell of our attacking philosophy. Would it not be more pertinent to hope that Keane recapures the form he showed last year along with Mido?

No because the defence is shit and we're shipping goals left right and centre so forgive me if i say bringing back our best defender to plug that gap and maybe keep some clean sheets which would provide the basis for us to then work on scoring.

Im sure if you dont concede you have a better chance of winning a match??

Whilst I agree that King is a huge loss, it is ridiculous for the rest of the team and Jol to even think about his absence. He is not playing and everyone needs to get on with it. I don't agree with Jol citing King and Lennon's absence all the time. It must affect the rest of squads morale and is almost sending out the message 'the rest of you are not up to it'.

I quite agree Shuggie, this is partly what I am talking about when I cite unprofessional management. Essentially, Jol either belives what he is saying or he is just using their continued absence as a convienient excuse, either way I'm not impressed in the slightest and I'm sure the rest of the squad aren't either.

Basically the problem is that we've been found out by every team we play!

No left winger so they know we're gonna play it to lennon at every chance or hoof it up the pitch for the flick on etc after the diagnal ball from robbo.

Until we get some variation to out play we're gonna continue to struggle and at the back we're really poor without king because dawson has to cover for chimbonda's runs forward and benny couldn't mark a bag of cement and has the positional sense of a limp dick!!

How can one team miss a decent not fantastic play like carrick so much?? I really think you can play berbatov away from home thats why we need mido.
