Duff/Pedersen - 1 or the other

I say 5 transfers and that would be my targets

a big NO to Viduka and Nolan is not needed unless we off load afew midfielders, but Bridge would be good competition for Lee

bridge def worth a bid. lovenkrands is free for the left wing, would prefer him than splash 10-12m on downing which is likely what it'll cost. pederson is quality but think he could do better than us. Don't like duff, not the best team player in the world and riddled with injuries. Didn't like wilhelmsson from what i've seen of him.

I thought I read somwhere Zigic had agreed a deal with Man U ? We certainly need a striker & a natural left wing, anything on top of that would be a bonus for me.

i'm amazed by all this kuyt hype, the dutch league is a doddle compared to ours and he just isn't that good in my opinion. He's mark hughes with an accent. Not worth 12-15m. The spec in the summer was arsenal had nabbed zigic but it's just not their style is it. You could argue it was our style up until mido got injured, but i think the team proved we are a better outfit playing the ball on the ground. Hopefully we'll complete our team this transfer window, and i think there will be about 5 in and 8-10 out.

We should pull out all the stops and try and sign Damien Duff. He's exactly what we need. Great pace, great delivery and has an eye for goal. He would also link up well with Robbie.

Only problem is Duffy is injury-prone. Doubt if he can play 25 games at top physical condition in a season.

bridge is the only one i'm sure we need positionwise, attitudewise, talentwise and possibly available. we do need a couple other signings but they're a bit more of a lottery imo how well they might pan out and i just don't know enough about them or how i feel about them in a spurs shirt.

1. We'd not be prepared to sign Robben unless he takes a pay cut.
