Michael Dawson

Out of what was a terrible week for the Spurs i would like to draw on probably the only positive i could a see and that by a country mile was Michael Dawson.

He was outstanding at the scum and outstanding again on Sunday. I have said on here before but i really think he should be vice captain, let Keane concentrate on getting his form & fitness back. Sod Robbo, goalies should never be captains anyway.

From the body language on the pitch, the never say die attitude and the desire to win i would be more than happy to him step in as captain whilst King is out and then have him as vice captain (in Fact, i think he will be our captain in years to come)

Totally agree mate-if the rest of the team showed half as much fight as Awesome Dawson we'd all be happy.Good shout on the vice-captain thing too.

Since this revolution of ours started it is arguable that he has been our best - if not then most important - signing.

I was at Anfield when he made his debut and he looked solid and not scared to be vocal. Thankfully he has lived up to that promise. He reminds me a lot of John Terry and that is a compliment to how much his game has improved.

All he needs to stop doing now is hoofing it 70 yards to Defoe.

But would have him as vice captain any day of the week

Yep i reckon Dawson should be captain full stop he's more vocal than ledders but i suppose ledders leads by example but i want my captain ready to pour blood for the cause.
